The Pussycats and/or Sheffield have to lose at home again and not pick up anything more away for us to have a sniff of leapfrogging them IMO. Not impossible but unlikely. All we can do is keep winning and see where it leaves us.

but you cant submit a team including a rider still in another teams 1-7 and Morris was (still is at this moment) in the Pboro 1-7. Like I said if it is the move Im happy for Ash and for Newcastle as neither deserve to be denied it - even if it is against the rules or your tenuous interpretation is accepted....

if only anyone thought you had a clue..... Points on the board always favourite.

as you say he is free from the 30th but the deadline to redeclare was the 28th.... That said regs are often flexible even when it is obviously wrong to be. At least if it were to happen in this case it would be to ensure a young Brit was able to gain a team place after being shafted by his previous team for the inadequacies of others.

thats the whole point - there should be!! EL heat leaders should not be in the PL (possible exception would be to allow any Brit to d/u but even that open to debate) Ideally IMO PL no1 should be about EL 2nd string standard and other heat leaders higher EL reserve standard. This would mean the jump from NL to PL eould be more manageable and hopefully produce a virtuous circle of Brit talent up the ladder. NO foreign rider should EVER be at PL reserve IMO. -

as in the post above they have been in the PL all that time so have established average. Personally I would only allow doubling up for British riders anyway. The PL should not be a place for foreign EL heat leaders. youve shot down your own arguement there - the PL should not be a place for 'world class riders' That sort of cost structure is part of the problem. -

its fair to say that my posts on Pboro threads are not always the most highbrow of efforts (hehe) and sometimes i am just on a wind up (hands up shoot me) but i have to seriously disagree on this one.Whilst proactive team changes are to be applauded i think the extent of the Pboro merrygoround this year has been too excessive and further risks the stability of the sport in an already fragile position. Such actions only force an unhealthy split between those teams that can afford to do little to compete and those that feel they have to attempt to keep up may well be pushed close or past a safe limit. Even the cash cow that is F1 limits changes (Lewis Hamilton grid penalty this weekend for exceeding engine number) Perhaps Speedway should consider such penalties should teams make an excesive number of changes (injuries aside) -

neither can find a new club due to the cut off for team changes - both shafted for the season..... lets hope they stick two fingers up and score 0 pootling around at the back or pulling wheelies......
