With all due respect it wasnt so much that Berwick won as Ipswich simply throwing it away. Inept and inadequate at times, mistake after mistake. Im sure bad luck will be citied given the EF in 15 when coasting to the 5-1 needed to progress but in the end we got exactly what the performance deserved - nothing. Congrats to the Bandits .

[quote name="crescent girl" post="2614807" timestamp="1431872968" One thing that will be hurting him financially would be that he's scoring so many third-place bonus points, which Premier League promotions don't pay for. Maybe some sponsorship would ease his burden? Id expect more do than dont whatever the official line is.

Cock-ups & Walk-outs To Remember
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv replied to TonyMac's topic in Years Gone By
During the Chris Shears era at Foxhall there was certainly a couple green light start meetings although I cant for the life of me remember dates and opponents!! There was also "The Redi Hire Pairs" held in awful track conditions - really deep and wet. Times I recall in the region of 74-78 seconds when the track record was just under a minute. -

so whos fault is it? Or is it just a 50/50 forum debating incident? wink -
I have a great deal of sympathy for Boro on this one. Im sure the last thing they wanted was to have to call it off especially as late as it was but what choice was there? To have tried to dig in their heels I doubt wouldve made any difference and wouldve just alienated relations with the landlord. That could easily have put racing on any day at risk let alone that one date.

He could have been in breach of his visa in the 2015 season though if its validity ended with his contract expiry at the end of the 2014 season. If they then recontracted him for the whole of 2015 on a visa that only ran to mid May then that cant be legal. ??? -

Something I am puzzled about is that I thought any visa was only valid for the length of the riders contract. That being the case why was Proctors visa from May 14 acceptable if he was only contracted to the end of the 2014 season? -
No problem with Boro at all or MPT individually. It doesnt matter what team or rider it is. If it was Ipswich I wouldnt being saying any different . The right thing isnt decided by whether it suits you or your own team and it is the attitude of "so long as my team can get away with it its fine" is the root of a number of the problems in the sport. Until that changes matters are not likely to improve.
