Well Ritchie certainly showed them! lol Following the chatzone it seemed like we were competitive but not quite good enough and a16 point defeat was possibly a bit harsh as a reflection of the performance. A much better away performance from Rohan - ironically against the strongest top4 in the league. Lets hope we see a few more like it in the rest of the season. Overall we ended up with what we expected -nothing - but with a few positives to hold on to. Well done to the Monarchs. We all know they will be there or thereabouts at the shake up at the end.

I think Mr Beerhut got it right in an earlier post. Riders 'sign in' for the week. If GB go straight to the final Danny will miss both even though the final diesnt clash. He wont be allowed to ride for the Witches in between. Also dont 2nd and 3rd go to race off? So unless GB or the US finish last both will still be involved past Thursday and Danny and Gino will miss at least the home match. -
Elite League "number Ones"

I think a relatively simple weighting is needed. Heatleaders plus 20% Second strings minus 20% Using 20 match rolling average means 1% up or down for each match ridden in the relevant position. So you have 3 riders all with raw averages of 6. One is heatleader for all 20 matches so plus 20% Two is second string for all 20 so minus 20% Three is moving between - 10 in each position so no change. 1 becomes 7.2 average 2 becomes 4 8 average 3 remains 6.0 average I think this woukd give an accurate reflection of true ability. No system will be totally 'fair' but almost anything would be better than the current way. -

it doesnt really matter if Havvy has been a hypocrite or not. I think we all know that would be the case 90% of the time for the team manager behind.Thats why the decsion is made by an official and why those officials need to make an impartial decision. IMO the score should make no difference in that officials decision either. Its safe or its not full stop. -

If this continues there is no reason for any match to be called off in any conditions anywhere for the rest of the season. -

Just how small the crowd was at Redcar surprised me. No more than 500 was my guess. I hope it can be worked out as what I saw was what could be a great race track. On Thursday it was very slick and dry but the potential for a multi line exciting racing strip was obvious.
