No details but Id imagine the logistics of travel and cost. Its quite an undertaking from the west coast to drive to NSW and base yourself there for 10 days or so.

I am told Cam wont be competing in the Aussie Finals despite winning the WA state champs. I think thats a shame if it turns out to be the case. It would be good to see him test himself in that line up.

this is where I have concerns. Surely when the BSPA meet with the government authorities they will be confirming a 7 point average will be applied rather than arguing for a continuation at 5.If they do argue for a 5 and it remains it makes the agm decisions and subsequent team plans invalid. It would also open up accusations of murky conspiracys and double dealing.

sober as a jugde! The 'best' would be a champagne supernova dream season so wouldnt expect any to do that - even if 1 did it would be a real bonus. The 'worst' are perhaps more realistic for an individual poor season which again you wouldnt expect from all in one go but each team will likely have at least 1 rider that has 'one of those years' A range of under 40 to over 50 so it was always going to look a bit extreme one way or the other!

Last year I did a best/worst rider profile so here goes again. Danny - Could be up there as a challenger for the PL no1 no1 - 10+ or if the PL is just a top up to his regular job in the EL he will stand still - 8.5 Rohan - Could increase his average as he has done each year so far especially without the pressure of being at no1 - 9+ or he has found a level and loses interest - 7.5 Gino - Becomes the true heat leader many hope he can be - 7.5 or doesnt cut out the mistakes andstruggles -5.5 Cam - Returns to his 2013 form and kicks on - 7.25 or turns into just a solid team man - 5.5 Ritchie - Continues to revel in the captains role - 5.75 or rides like he has signed for Edinburgh - 4.5 Nico - KEY MAN - could be this years Sedgman. Has the ability but not all are convinced he will prove it - 7+ or instead does a Makinen - 4.5 Stefan - gets into the groove and scores confidently - 5.0 or suffers falls and mechanical gremlins to slip away - 3.75.

Generally to be in the mix the team average has to rise by 4-5 points ending up 47+ So we would need 9,8,7,7,6,6,4 which is certainly possible. If you cant be positive pre season its gonna be a long year! Only 3 months to go - up the Witches!
