  1. He certainly couldve done little more if he was aiming to impress.
  2. Perhaps we could sign Wells and reverse recent trends - take a 6.5 rider and turn him into a No1 rather than take a No1 rider and turn him into a 6.5 rider! Re Tungate - I do think it is harsh to say he has lost his way. A point on his average each year is decent. Agree that he is limited from the back and has only shown in the odd meeting any real signs that he would pass. Can be super quick and maybe could breakthrough into that 'true No1' category. A new challenge could be the making of him.
  3. its catching - now even even the name of the Ipswich stadium is only using 6 letters when there should be 7. wink
  4. Good call BM. All great but my personal favourite was Ben Howe. If only he had the application to match the talent. Can we have Moggo at No 8 for that team?
  5. Not the £3 increase seen for the EL final though so Id say its reasonable Thats normal admission at Foxhall for me. As for the prog I can also understand more for an enhanced special edition. Generally seen as one of the better progs anyway I think. Has had some excellent contributers in the past too! wink
  6. Sissis did a few laps at Foxhall a couple of months ago on Cams gear and not unexpectedly looked a bit rough around the edges. Practiced a few times at other places too (there are some pictures on various sites) Be interesting to see how competitive he will be during the season in Oz if he does get back into it.
  7. Yes BM - was released mid season. Had a few spins in the UK after. He had some laps at foxhall the same night Max Ruml did.
  8. I think the missing Brady line is a bit of a myth. R/R has produced the scores he would have.Where it is a big miss/risk is if you lose another rider mid meeting it would leave you very exposed.
  9. Agree Rohan is a reasonable comparison but he had at least a season in Oz and then a tour of UK tracks to put himself in the shop window. If Sissus bursts back onto to the Aussie scene andstarts beating big names then Im sure he will be in demand.
  10. If Edinburgh start like they did at Worky they could be in trouble. Certainly need to hit the ground running or they coukd be under serious pressure in the return. Will go for Somerset by 12 at home but the Monarchs to pick up the title after winning their home leg by 16. Would be a travesty if Edinburgh dont win overall.
  11. Better see how Arthur goes back in Oz first but I understand he intends to have a serious go at Speedway again. Whether he does and whether he would be at a level to risk at PL level on a 5 is another matter. His reputation as a schoolboy was excellent but lets not forget he wouldnt have even ridden 500s then so his experience is mininal in reality. No doubt his natural bike skills give him an advantage but its not a given he will be a sensation IMO. An interesting one to keep our eyes on over the winter though!
  12. Worrall 3 and Sedgman 5 both to about 7.5. Most wouldve expected improvement from both but not to the extent that happened. Fricke and Masters also up by about a point each. Cook Sneddon and Fox all dropped!
  13. first one is 44.8 so would need a 3 pointer instead of Cam to fit!! Second one 45.55 so drop King for Boxall or equivalent to fit!!
  14. So whomever anyone wants the details that most agree on is that changes will be minimal, that Morten is possibly guaranteed a place and we will use our assets wherever possible. With that in mind you could see Worrall replaced with Leigh at around 42 points.
  15. It seems most are agreed on a core of King 8.84 Worrall 7.32 Gino 6.02 Cam 5.38 Adam 4.67 Total 32.23 leaving 10.27 under current limit Options for the final 2 If we go with what we know then Leigh and Hawkins would fit. Wells on 6.46 has been mentioned. With him in you have the likes of Fox Bates Nielsen and Greenwood who fit. Go with a 3 pointer or if a fast track type system is introduced then Sedgman Lindgren and Aspegren fit but of course therre is a problem with Swedes and Thursdays. A new 7 pointer from elsewhere perhaps? Poole or Bellego would fit with Covatti. Tressarieu would fit with Sneddon Lykke Rose Roynon Bunyan Starke Campton October averages used so there could be a few minor tweaks for a number of those quoted that make a difference.
  16. Yes he was.. Had a few spins in the UK towards the end of the year and I understand was expressing his intent to pick it up when back home.
  17. pretty much in line with my assessment. Whilst it would be harsh in Ritchie H it may be his average forces him out if to accomodate the top end.
  18. Just those 17 points short that Ritchie missed out on and it made all the difference! wink Congratulations to the Monarchs. Well done to Cam Adam and Richie W for making a fight of it.
  19. the good thing though is that there were enough fans in the stands in the first place. At plenty of tracks there arent enough for one to stand on each of your toes as they rush past.
  20. I believe Arthur Sissis may be planning to give speedway a serious go this year.
  21. we need him to score 21 to have a chance of a win. Tried to put a quid on with Bet365 but they rejected it - something to do with mental capacity rules! lol
  22. Im sure it doesnt matter either way! You could have Cook and Sedgman crash out and withdraw after heat 1 and still win on aggregate. Of course I hope that doesnt happen by the way.
