The 2 matches this week before this one will set out what each team needs to do and therefore how they approach it. Us Witches fans cant feel too confident given our general form at EWR but this is the play offs and anything can happen! No prediction from me at this stage. Whatever will be will be!!

A point for Scunny would really set the group up nicely. I think Scunny are a team that could push the Rebels at the OTA.

A win taking all 3 points is essential. Somersets poor results at Foxhall are a bit of a mystery. Allen Morris and Aspgren have all performed well previously (but separately) and the rest are all capable of popping out and winning a race. Fingers crossed they dont choose this as the time to click at tge same time. As others have said race point difference neans nothing unless we can perform away or Scunny surprise the Rebels in their return match.

And Im not sure Foxhall is available on the 9th!!

Totally agree. Personally I would want to see the LC finished by the end of June and the KOCup by the end of August.

Whilst I can see the benefits for the order of matches being set up to ensure they are more likely to mean sonething in this case you have to factor in that Edinburgh also need to fit in a LC final and KOCup semi tie. Because of that it is right that their fixtures were scheduled as was.

The total points position is the most important aspect of the series at this stage and is rightly a focus of the presentation. Just as on the final day of the footy you get a table as it stands after every goal.

Somerset didnt miss Brady in this one. 9+1 from r/r is at least as good as his return would likely to have been. (7 from 5 in the league visit)

I really do think we CAN. Most will predict Scunny to turn us over by more and probably rightly so but this is where we need to up our game and the boys are capable of doing that IMO.
