I keep thinking I mustve slipped into some strange parallel universe - cant get used to all these Comets fans cheering on the Witches! Re the second half of the season - possibly hasnt seemed as good due to Sheffield Glasgow and Plymouth meetings all coming in that time which were too one sided to be classics. Even then Cams win in 15 against Plymouth was one of those cliche 'worth the admission money alone' races.

I agree that its difficult to summon up much enthusiasm for this one but it will still be the last home team meeting so although we are battered bruised and patched up I will be there to show that Ive been proud to be a Witches fan this year. Weve been competitive and exciting and despite just falling short at the end its been a decent year. It is long way better than the dark days of struggling in the Elite. Who knows what 2014 will bring but however the leagues are set up I settle for the type of entertainment Ive seen this year.

A Bears win taking all 3 points would be the best result for building tension re the outcome of the group. However I would expect the Rebels to pick up a win and remove almost any doubt as to whom will reach the final.

Its not like they need to put on extra meetings to cover season ticket promises. I can see an April start and early October finish becoming the norm in the future with only 20 meetings each year.

Totally agree -Ive really enjoyed this year until this last week! Gutted about the way matters have ended and I dont just mean not picking up a trophy.

Demolished two sections of the solid fence with the bike literally breaking in two by all accounts. Described by a number of Worky fans as 'a truly horrific' type of crash. Somehow seems to have escaped with only a concussion and a broken finger!

The Witches deserve something from 2013 and I think they can get it. Just a shame that if they do it may well mean Newcastle who end up empty handed again abd that would be harsh on them too. Two top sides who have helped make 2013 a great and exciting year in the PL. Up the Witches!

So near and yet so far - we seem to have gone off the boil just at the wrong time. Tonights score was as good as I expected in the circumstances. Well done to Ritchie for a great performance to at least keep us in it until close to the bitter end. Well done Worky - well deserved table toppers at this point. Not at all - you must read carefully. I said good starts pulked back and some fliers let go. I didnt apportion either scenario to a particular side. Worky were better than the Witches last night and deserved their win. By karma I presume you mean Lawsons flier in 15! wink

thank you abbott. mustve been something in the air last night! At Foxhall though Tungate was excluded (2 fliers) and no substitute allowed. Warning was announced to the crowd but delivered to Lawson by marshall so Tungate unaware! some excelkent starts were pulled back whilst other blatent jumps were let go. Warnings were haphazard in both award of and delivery!

If we go down poorly at Worky then I will agree with you on this one. However lets see what happens there first. C'mon boys - what do you want to be winners or also rans - its in your hands!

It has been mentioned that there were 2 exclusions for delaying the start can somone outline the circumstances and if a replacement or 15 penalty were allowed. Thanks

Boxall has been above 4 in the PL previously so not elligible. I agree Morley seems in decent form. There is an Airfence fund meeting at Buxton as well as Mildy meeting so options may be limited!? All of his rides could be 'virtual' on the Louis inside track facility - Im sure Chris could get the arrows working so that Josh picks up some points!
