  1. The faint was obviously caused by the surge of positivity - such an unusual occurence so no wonder you dont feel right!! ;-)
  2. Drove past the stadium a few minutes ago. Huge puddles all along Foxhall Road so the track has certainly had the heavy rain from earlier. Still lots of dark clouds and a light shower but these are being chased away by some blue sky and white fluffy specimins as I type. Unless the bad stuff comes back (not forecasted but can never tell this year!) I wouldsay all systems go.
  3. Not expecting any really heavy stuff so should be no problems. Foxhall drains well also. Weather still sub tropical by your northern standards!! ;-)
  4. Bloody rain again - so much for the cold dry day we were promised!! Showers now predicted all day although hopefully not heavy. Should be all clear by early evening so with a bit of luck Bob should have time to get the track in good order. Really looking forward to this one. Up the Witches!!
  5. Will give you it was 21 - fat fingers/little phone keyboard!!! Was max poss 26 though as they ride together and cant both score 3.Rohan,Dak,Tay,Cam,Stefan - are they on the down or has beens Aljerk??
  6. So Leigh and Morten score 22 out of max poss 26.My point stands they didnt lose it for us.I will reserve judgement on the crowd size until after Saturday. It could just be a matter of finances for many.
  7. It wasnt at the top end that we lost out though - Leigh paid 12 Morten paid 13 - it was at reserve. Following a good win in heat 2 Mat scored 4 from 4. Newman after heat 2 scored 8 from 5. I hope Mat will put that right on Saturday as if he does I think we will be in pole position with a decent lead.
  8. Overall last nights perfornance was encouraging with regard to what sort of lead we could get from this one. Hopefully Leigh and Rohan dont have any after effects from their horror crash and Dak can turn in the kind of performance that we have come ti expect of late. I think we are capable of a 14 point lead to put us in the driving seat to take the cup.
  9. Good luck for Saturday then!! Last night was positively balmy compared to the forecast!! Lets hope the track action is enough to warm us all up!!
  10. Perhaps I was referring to the tap tap tapping from you from under your bridge. Troll off!!
  11. Well done to the Rebels for a deserved victory. Nearly but not quite from the Witches with Dak below par and Mat outshone by Newman when it mattered. Cook was faultless but Doyle would most likely have done the same. Vissings kamikazee move in 13 nearly spoilt the night but didnt affect the result. If all matches had this kind of passion and excitement then speedway would have far less problems.
  12. Seems to be a forgotten match. Can the Witches pull back 14 points to sneak a trophy away from the Rebels? I think it will be close and go to a last heat decider. Could go either way. Up the Witches!!
  13. I would be more than happy with a 10+ lead given we were the only team to secure a losers point from a visit to Newcastle in the league this year.To feel confident I think we need 16 as this would put pressure on the Diamonds from the off in the return leg. I can see it being less than 10 though!
  14. Somerset,Berwick and Edinburgh all beaten fair and square by the Witches in this KOC comp - we dont need to pretend about anything!
  15. I agree with the lack of info point you make. My original reply set out my acceptance of the decsion but I had only found out of the decision following reading the Rye thread. With each of the other decisions of this ilk there has been a specific statement on the BPSA sitebut not for this one. It is also rather strange that the Witches site has not posted anything on the subject.
  16. Do get your facts right - this is the KOC and all races in all rounds were completed.Face facts you just werent good enough!!
  17. I agree that the track is the place to decide any tie.In this case though the only scoreline that wasnt an assumption was the aggregate at the point it was called off. If a restaging was possible then that would have been the right first call. It wasnt hence the decision made. My point was that it was assumed by many that the Comets would have outscored the Witches in those last heats(myself included) The same assumptions were there at heat 11 against the Diamonds but it didnt happen that way! Adds some spice to next years meeting so its not all bad!
  18. The end of this meeting saw Worky going into the last few heats as favourites to win on agg. Just goes to show you cant assume how races might go and that it was right to call the result against the Witches as it stood.
