  1. I would think at least 5 clubs will be chasing Leigh on a sub 7 average.
  2. Indeed - and not the first time away from home that Leigh's performance has gained us points.
  3. A great away win last night but the play offs are still a long shot imo. I believe we need to double the Monarchs to put ourselves back in the frame. Whilst this is possible it is far from probable.
  4. Is Tia Tai's sister? I would say no Brit just for the sake of it. If BSI decides there has to be one I think they will go with Tai with an eye to the future as he does have the talent to become a top ten regular. Chris hasnt let his nation down - he has just struggled in what is a tough competition!!
  5. We must stick by Tay. It was always going to be a struggle in the first few weeks. He is still adapting how he rides and his set up due to the limitations in his strength whilst he regains full fitness. I know on Thursday after struggling to turn the bike in heat 1 he had to completely change his set up - sprocket size, bike length, jet size, tyre pressures - to make it spin more and easier to turn the bike.
  6. Another notable showing from young Nielsen last night. Would be very happy to see his name at No7 next year. I believe he could average 4 at PL level next year.
  7. Talking to yourself is the first sign of madness!I hope you find help soon - all the best.
  8. Very good of the Monarchs to agree to a restaging so quickly.Rumour has it the date for the cup semi against the Witches is still to be agreed and could replace the New Year Classic!
  9. After Glasgow I think we have reached the cut off for averages to determine the September riding order. Thanks in advance to those that can keep us plebs without the spreadsheet up to date!!
  10. Nicki P Holder Hampel Harris Two Tribes (Hancock/Sayfutdinov)
  11. Its taking a while to build up the muscle in the arm and he is struggling particularly when its grippy.
  12. Hopefully the Witches take heart from a really good effort last night and carry that forward to today. If so I can see a Witches win by 4.
  13. I think he meant the same old crap from you.You just proved him right!
  14. Of course tonight there will be no fans there thanks to the lack of co-operation between promotions!!
  15. I woukd love to see an event of that kind to honour John Berry but 10 days is not enough time and of course it would be 2 days before Cardiff GP.
  16. I would like to see Nielsen given a go if we go for NL guests.Someone mentioned Lubos Tomicek would fit. As a temp injury replacement he could be worth a go.At reserve he could do a decent job as he rides Foxhall quite well.
  17. If I were to call myself Dr Fueultaps and and then shout about how pleased I was to be one would that make me fully qualifed??!!
  18. The thing is that these dates are not just blank weeks - they are designated as reserved dates for rain offs and cup rounds. Taking Edinburgh as an example presumably they have given permission to riders to arrange these holidays (??) If so why given they knew if they progressed in the cup they could be up against a team where the reserved date was for that week!!
  19. Surely when you are a professional in a sport that takes place for only 6 months of the year and has a known history of short notice rescheduling of fixtures then you dont go booking holidays?!Perhaps promotions should also be doing more to plan the rearrangements earlier. This is not a dig at the Monarchs in isolation but more of a general observation.
  20. Hopefully Kevin may see your request and be able to post it up for all to see in black and white.
  21. Well done Kevin Long. A superbly written and presented tribute to John Berry tonight.
  22. No room for anyone else with you in permanent residence!!!
