Poole V Wolves SGB PREM A. 4th April 2018
Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
And so it begins...... Shovlar saying Wolves will have the advantage lol you couldn’t make it up but it’s exoected. All pre season we hear how Poole will blow the opposition away.......first meeting at home and the opponents have the edge lol. Priceless comedy -
Spot on Poole should have walked the league last season but choked so badly their number one went and rode for a club he enjoyed riding for. We had it all before last season how good the Poole 1-7 was and it didnt deliver and this seasons 1-7 looks riskier , already Chris Holder is missing, who knows how the Poles will go and Sundstrom as well. There isnt a lot of talking about Shovlar , nobody really takes him seriously on here. Decent Poole fans see the bigger picture , and its no suprise that Shovlar seems to be just as much of an idiot at the track as well. Matt Ford good for Poole and a disaster for the sport

Leicester vs Somerset Monday 26th March Challenge
Gavan replied to SomersetBlue's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Still can’t see why Poole let a rider like Andersen go with whom you knew what you were getting and instead brought in Sundstrom? -
Poole v Somerset & Somerset v Poole. Good Friday.
Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I can see Somerset keeping it close at Poole and then winning by more at home. As i said the Poles and Sundstrom will need to dial in and then you have Klidemand who could easily get 10-12 or have 2 falls and get 5-6 -

Looking at the line ups can see the top 5 of Somerset giving Poole a lot to think about. Depends on how quick the Poles settle in and which Kildemand turns up -
If Chris Holder has allowed himself to be pictured holding a beer bottle and have it on his instagram page then he deserves to be the first person 'jumped all over' if he was due to get on a speedway bike. If he wasnt drinking then it wont matter a jot. He is allowed out drinking if he isnt racing but you cant moan that if he is racing that he shouldnt be the first person to be checked out.

Im confused. If a track is raceable then its rideable yes? If a track is rideable doesnt mean its raceable You cant state a track is raceable i.e meaning riders can race and overtake without it being rideable surely? Belle Vue v Poole a few years ago in the rain when Poole forced the meeting to heat 10. Track was rideable but the riders couldnt race on it.
-
Starman........you put the track was raceable but not rideable Im pretty sure you meant to say rideable not raceable.

Have a look over the thread How many people are having a pop at you? Pretty much everyone.........same as on the Swindon match thread where you mock Dan Bewley. You have the audacity to call me a troll.................well so far apart form you ive not had anyone disagreeing with what ive wrote. I need a calculator to add up the people on both threads having a go at you Yes you are the gift that keeps on giving
-
100% spot on. Try explaining it to the blinkered troll lol
-
Yes ladies and gentlemen here it is again. Season after season month after month the same old line from Poole fans.............................................we are all jealous and anti Poole!!! What a pathetic excuse and reason. Lack of intelligence clearly the reasoning behind the jealousy comment.
-
I know what your saying but how does a rider ride in 2 GP'S and gets saddled with a higher average then one who rode in 9? Farcical
-
Poole have managed to bring in a Polish ringer and now replaced a rider on the downgrade in Holder with Kildemand. If Poole somehow mess this season up like the last 2 then surely its time for Middlo to walk? They cant mess up having clearly the best team for the third year in a row can they?
-
Max Fricke rode over here in 2017 so your point is somewhat flawed. But yes if Fricke had ridden in 9 gp's and hadnt ridden over here last season then quite rightly he should be a 9, same as Kildemand should be. I ask again if Nicki Pedersen wanted to ride here he would be a 9...................why?
-
So in 1999 if Mark Loram had of scored 5 more points he would have been on the rostrum but was only a reserve. Im guessing by your logic that means he wouldnt have been classed as world number 3 as he wasnt a GP rider. Please explain how you think its right that Kildemand rode in more grand prix then Iversen or Nicki Pedersen but yet can come in on 2 points lower??

Charity Shield 2nd leg 22/03/18 Swindon - Belle Vue
Gavan replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Good win for the Robins but early days to make bold predictions. Bellego proving his worth and Davey scoring well are a couple of extra bonuses for Swindon and might shut the south coast numptys up -

Gavan replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Trolling again very pathetic but expected -
100% spot on Iversen rides in 7 rounds and comes in on plus 9 Pedersen rides in 2 rounds and comes in on 9 Kildemand rides in 9 rounds but can convert to 7. Please how on earth is that fair..................oh yes its Poole
-
lol really? Ask Mark Loram whats harder to win. Granted you can have a one off winner who has a bit of luck on the day, but a gp over 12 rounds the best rider will win. If the GP system was about in the mid to late 80's Hans Nielsen would have won loads more titles, including the 1994 season when Tony won his first.
-
So yet again its Poole speedway who bring the sport into disrepute with their continual season after season of bending them rules. Replace Chris Holder on a 7 with a better rider in Kildemand and thats deemed as ok? About time Chris Holder was moved on from the UK we dont need his sort in the league. So yet again if Poole win the league it will be yet another hollow victory
-
Same as when the rule was brought into football that keepers couldnt pick up from a back pass. Few forgot in the first few weeks and it soon stopped and this will be the same
-
Im assuming this is tongue in cheek. Would think Wolves would be favourites to beat Poole around Monmore. Josh , 2 and 3 on his last 2 visits Shanes , 0, 1 and 3 Kurtz 4 Holder 8 Woryna 4, 4 So unless the Poole boys have dramatically improved then i cant see Poole getting close to Wolves. Think Matt Ford has agreed to this simply because he wants his boys to have a few meetings under their belt so they may have more chance of getting something

Which rider is to improve the most in 2018
Gavan replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Most talented but wasnt the best as he hadnt won anything. Had the potential to be World Champion but would he have ever grown up and applied himself..sadly who knows -

Not sure i agree with that. Hugely hugely gifted but would he have ever won a world title? Maybe but sadly we will never know........trouble was his application and dedication was appalling and may have held him back -

Ive been going through a tough time but ive turned up for work everyday and given 100% and earnt my money. Holder was in my view rightly banned last season but that doesnt mean he cant have a good year this season. World class rider but not in the worlds top ten anymore but should improve his average to around 8
