  1. Why is that nice try? In the uk Morris almost a 9 pointer and Brady just over 8. No doubting Kurtz has the potential but he isn't even close yet to what Morris does over here. As I've said if he cuts out the silly duff rides and mistakes he could push on to the level Morris has achieved in the Uk
  2. Brady didn't bottle it just seemed Tungate wanted it more the usual Shovlar guff to make us all laugh though. As I said even before the Aussie champs is that Kurtz messes up one or two rides every meeting and when the pressure is on he over rides if anything. It's not coincidence that it was all 4 finals he messed up in. so a Belle Vue second string beats Pooles number 1.....oops! Kurtz as I said has huge potential if he can eradicate the mistakes...... he could yet be as good as Nick Morris time will tell
  3. Firstly Pawlicki doesn't fit but nice trolling attempt! Secondly if your so sure of those sides makes you wonder why Shanes isn't signed and sealed.
  4. They should be ok as they have ridden here before but one thing is certain they will not have their best equipment here.
  5. Good Memories: Started going speedway in 1982 to Rye House and then loved going to Ipswich in around 1984 and seeing the 'big names' After my uncle sponsored a 14 year old at Hackney , then seeing that 14 year old progress into the 2000 World Champion and travelling with Marks family to go to big meetings. My first British Final in 1990 (Marks first one) Commenwealth Final 1994 and Semi Final at Bradford 1994 great atmospheres World Final the only 1 day one i went to in 1994 at Vojens. Bad Memories: Being at Hackney the night Paul Muchene had his accident.just a simple slide off abut into the path of the incoming Nick Floyd who had nowhere to go. Then David Steen who we were good friends with coming over to us to tell us he looked like he wouldnt make it, horrible night. Watching Mick Poole at Peterborough and Lee Richardson at Coventry fence Mark Loram. And a weird one was being at Coventry for the British Final and hearing about the death of Senna Being at a grasstrack meeting and hearing about Erik Gundersens bad accident
  6. I dont suppose the irony is lost on anyone that a Poole fan has said that speedway is corrupt
  7. find where ive used abusive language apart from numpty and moron please
  8. ah bless you had to jump in didnt you. ok you obviously dont understand things so let me spell it out. Brady Kurtz on all known form and averages is clearly the stand out rider in the Aussie champs. Yes or No? Brady Kurtz is the only elite league number one riding in the Aussie champs. Yes or No Brady Kurtz has dominated the Aussie champs. Yes or No Brady Kurtz keeps falling at the final hurdle in all 3 rounds. Yes or No Not once have i slagged Kurtz off as a rider! He keeps making mistakes at crucial times...............a fact that has been backed up by real Poole fans. Ive said if he cuts those out he could be as good as Doyle or Morris this season coming........how is that slagging him off?
  9. couldnt be bothered to go through it all. but quite clearly ive not slagged Kurtz off and quite nice for a Poole fan to agree and chat like a normal human being
  10. Please please please find me the post where i have slagged Kurtz off??? Ive said he has more potential than most riders Ive said his form means he should dominate the Aussie champs The only thing he needs to curb is the odd bad ride ....like he keeps doing in Aus and had a habit of doing last season, which many Poole fans have agreed with me on. Ive also said on paper he is one of the weakest number ones in the league but he has the most potential. If you take that as 'slagging off' then you are very easily bruised. I dont wish to bring everyone down a peg or two..............just the 3 or 4 Poole fans on here .....the majority are fine
  11. yes like when i said KK would flop or when i said Poole would lose to Rye House at home or when i said it was wrong to sack Newman or when i said Poole would make top 4 but not win the league any more you need? I just love how some Poole fans love their side while slagging off all the others. That happened last season and was quite funny when it all blew up. Pooles 1-7 looks good enough again for top 4...............but not title winners yet
  12. As i have said Brady Kurtz should be dominating the Aussie champs.............being a number one over here means he shouldnt really be beaten at all against top flight second strings and second or third heat leaders. I havent once said he isnt dominating , ive simply said he is doing what he should be doing....... My post is that Brady Kurtz is doing what he should be doing he is beating inferior riders...but as usual finds a way to blow the races that matter. Please tell me how and where i have trolled please. I said Brady Kurtz should be dominating and he is. Ive said he is blowing the big races and he is. Ive said its easier for him as the 2 best Aussies, Doyle and Morris arent there. None of that is trolling. Oh and as for your abusive language ive reported you byeee
  13. Why should Fricke be the best rider? Kurtz outperformed him last season by over half a point and is the better long term prospect. Kurtz is a number one rider and Fricke is a second or third heat leader. As said Kurtz should be winning this aussie title at a canter without Doyle and Morris there. But i agree Fricke has underperformed out there so far.
  14. Totally agree especially when the 2 best Aussies Doyle and Morris arent riding........bit like the British Final with no Tai and Cook really Kurtz should be dominating really
  15. Belle Vues 4th best rider..............powerful stuff from Kurtz to be tied with him
  16. I guess your glasses are failing you. Round One, engine failure then excluded for falling on his own Round Two, excluded for taking off Holder Round Three, beaten by Jack Holder. Brady Kurtz is Pooles number one rider. He is riding against teams second or third heat leaders (Fricke, Masters) ans other teams second strings ( Tungate, Holder) He should be totally dominant but as like heat 13 in the second leg of the play off final he sort of messes it up when it matters. If you class beating second strings (and being beaten by one in Holder in the final) as devastating form then you are very easily pleased.
  17. what does that have to do with it?? Mark Loram lived near Ipswich but still rode for Exeter (his grandparents came form that way). Lawrence Hare used to commute from Ipswich to Edinburgh. Shanes rides on the continent weekends grasstracking and had no interest in speedway until last season and now all of a sudden because he is local he will only ride for Poole lol You do write some weird and wonderful stuff at times
  18. Looks like Shanes could be Belle Vue bound. If i was him i would sign for Belle Vue, why wait and see what might happen and then be left without a place if Poole go a different route? Shanes and Bewley at reserve would be a sight to behold at the NSS
  19. Kurtz does seem to have an issue in being able to close meetings out. Wins all his races then mucks up or chokes when it matters, bit like the play offs 3,2,3 then with Poole only 4 or 5 behind (cant remember which) he runs 2 last places. Cuts out the mistakes and could challenge Doyle or Morris as the best rider in the league this season
  20. Yes they did many people on here including Poole fans could see it was a dodgy signing, only a couple of blue tints thought otherwise. Same as people are undecided over Holder Same as nobody knows how the Poles will go. Nothing better than seeing someone so cocksure being brought down a peg or two
  21. Had a reduction because he hasnt ridden over here not hard to understand that. Pawlicki has ridden over here and was in the gp's last season so wont get a reduction..............surely even you can work that out
  22. Why would he risk injury riding against riders that he is superior to? Only the world champion was better than Morris last season and you wouldn't want riders like Brady Kurtz or Jack Holder riding out of control trying to take the coveted scalp of the second best Aussie in our top flight. sensible decision by Morris
  23. agreed great rider but as i said earlier is prone to the odd silly ride......often gets 3 wins and then a 2 and a 0 for example or gets himself excluded. Cut those out and could be top of the averages
  24. I get what your saying but he has never rode over here. I would say Morris and Thorssell are only marginally behind Vaculik anyway but in the UK next season it will be close. Splitting hairs i would have said 8.50 would be fair....but then riders pf the calibre of Zagar and Tai never achieved 8.50 last time they were here and they are better riders than Vaculik
