We followed Mark Loram around and 1990 was both Mark and Todd Wiltshires debuts in the top flight, Mark at Kings Lynn. I went to Kings Lynn v Reading early that season and from memory they both rode at reserve and Mark got 19 and Todd 13 or something. By the end of the season Todd was World number 3.... Also remember Todd saying Mark was the safest rider he ever rode against.

ah bless trying to twist what i write ....good for you ah so the trolls support him then. its a waste of my oxygen and typing trying to have a discussion when you get involved. Just in case your not intelligent enough.... Tai has the support of 95% of British speedway fans.granted that should be a 100% A few numptys on here like Starman , Shovlar and Speedibee are hardly a reflection of what the real fan thinks. But thinks for your input.as worthless as it is
-
lol 50-50 not even close. on a forum where a large number of people fall under the category of trolling i would say its at least 3 out of 4 in support of Tai. wouldnt take anything that comes out of Shovvy or Starmans mouth as an ounce of credibility or speedibee. that leaves the odd one.....50/50 my ar5e talking out of your backside Mark Loram, possibly one of the most respected riders ever, has been asked numerous times to get involved and has refused every time. A couple of personal tragedies he has had put to one side, he has said he will NEVER be involved under the way the BSPA is set up at the moment, and in his own words , thats a crying shame as so many past and current riders, including Tai are being ignored crap who has been advising and helping Steve Worrall???? lol another one who doesnt check facts before posting Steve Worrall has got Tai helping him....................oops
-
Even by your usual standards thats one heck of a crap post. Nice to see you keep calling it a horror track. That phrase, as well as being total b0llox is a tad boring...........try and show a bit more intellect in your posts
-
how do Swindon not go well at Wolves? Lost by 6 earlier in the season and now have Ellis at reserve and a former Wolf in Musielek in the team now! Swindon would gladly settle for a 6 point loss if the teams meet
-
Surely please tell me you are not serious with that quote
-
I come on the Poole thread largely because its the most entertaining and has the most posts and banter. I love reading the rubbish written by Starman and Shovlar, one who lacks the intellect and one who merely trolls. The vast majority of other Poole fans are decent on here and ray c is one of those.
-
You talk tosh You lost Hans with what can be described as a dubious injury. Then replaced him with a top gp star who had won the Cardiff GP!! Hardly irreplaceable.just for once this time Pooles rule bending backfired. Lets be fair its Pooles constant bending of the rules that leads us down this path
-
I can see why Belle Vue fans feel harshly treated. Wolves legitimately replaced Joonas with Tai with at least 6 matches to go so totally within the rules although obvious why people seemed upset. Poole then bring in a GP star SOLELY for the play offs...after the cut off dates for a 'season ending' injury..typical Poole stunt that wonderfully backfired. Yet Belle Vue can now do nothing to replace Fricke. Why can Poole bend the rules after last seasons cut off date, yet Belle Vue have a genuine injury and cant replace him?

Ipswich V Glasgow Ch 3-8-17@7-30pm
Gavan replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Granted they need Riss back and they are a threat at Foxhall mainly due to Masters, Erik Riss and Pickering liking our place. Mark Riss did nothing at our place this season. If we can restrict the scoring of the 'big 4', Masters, Wells, Riss and Pickering i dont think they can beat us over 2 legs. Of the likely 3 opponents in the play offs i feel Edinburgh are the weakest -
Crump in his early days..........maybe Sullivan. Just seems the current crop of Aussies love nothing more than to moan and bleat.........maybe because they are not as good as their predecessors
-
100% agree I remember Jason Crump when he was younger was a hothead but turned himself around..shame Holder couldnt copy him. What happened to the decent Aussies of the late 80's and 90's. Crump, Adams, Boyce, Wiltshire, Sullivan, Lyons...........riders who just got on with racing.......unlike the kind of Holder, Batchelor and Ward

Coming up for this but with slight worry as if a weak Edinburgh side can nick one then a strong Glasgow side can. Rory been superb this season but his form has dipped a little recently so we need a good one from him. Dress rehearsal for the end of season final in my opinion -
Chris Holder was a spoilt brat when he first came over. Then he calmed down and turned into a great rider and one i admired both on and off the track Seems he has spent to much time around Ward and Batchelor and gone back to being a spoilt brat again. Poor attitude and no loss to the sport over here

Back from holiday (went on the 22nd) and watched the meeting this morning. Plain to see it looked a great meeting. Also despite what a few keyboard warriors say Tai clearly was the best supported rider on the night. The press coverage before the meeting in the national press was all about Tai , can only be good for the sport. Also read on here that Tai is now an also ran lol...............had a good laugh at that. Doyle who quite clearly deserves a title and 2 young improving Poles are ahead of him. Emil and surprisingly Lindgren above him. Hardly an also ran!! Hancock , Holder , Iversen......they are also rans.
-
only to have a look at how much i was being missed by Starman and to see how much rubbish had been written
-
Absolute tosh! 12 riders were happy to race on and 2 didnt. 2 riders who are well known for whinging and moaning. Ok so the track wasnt great but during your reports during the meeting you were wondering why the Kings Lynn riders were not racing. Now you seem to agree that they were right not to race. Well done Buster Chapman for making a stand. We dont need the likes of Holder and Batch over here. Even better that he made sure no other clubs could get hold of them
-
great grasp of the English language you have there. Sorry been on a nice family holiday , not sure you would know what that would be like. Anyway nice to know you miss me and good to see how well Poole have been doing since I've been away
-
that you were all throwing world stars names about like confetti and then you get Kennett. Just shows that nobody on here knew! His away average was just over 3 this season so how will he start scoring on the road!! Who are your heat leaders then until Kurtz gets back? Hans , Jack, Worrall?? Very weak. Please come back to me when Kennett starts scoring 8-10 at home lol
-
Nick Pedersen Vaclav Milik Linus Sundstrom Antonio Lindback Andreas Jonsson Jaroslaw Hampel Magic Janowski Just some of the names banded about on here....... and you get Edward Kennett lol
-
nothing I ever write about Poole is aimed at you. Just the usual odd 3
-
Wow the 2018 Poole thread is well under way!
-
I did say no gp rider would ride for Poole but blimey Kennett lol!!! So the 3 riders Poole have changed this season are KK, Newman, Klindt Replaced by Kennett , Starke and Lahti. That shows how bad the team have been
-
thats why I put the smiley on my post not Poole ......... just a couple of their fans.
-
not in my paper!! All about him making history and looking forward to riding in front of the British fans who give him great support. One line that he didn't ride here.
