Yes in the last ten years maybe but why are we shortening the time span? In 2016 Leicester were the biggest football team then! In the 1920's Huddersfield were the best football team? Time of success is irrelevant. So if its not gauged on success what is it gauged on?? It is based on history and prestige surely!! Do you gauge it on support? My thing about football makes perfect sense. Surely the biggest clubs in football are Manchester United and Liverpool?..................But in the last 5 or 6 years Manchester City and Chelsea have won most things even Arsenal with 3 FA Cups. Yet they are not the biggest clubs. Huddersfield have won the top league more times than Spurs yet who is the bigger club? Poole are successful on the track 7 titles in the last 14 years.......but if Wolves win this year they will have 4 in the same amount of time. Its simply been Pooles turn to dominate (bit like Huddersfield in the 1920's). They also have been the team in that time with the biggest financial backer. Poole have been the 'biggest' club recently But we can talk about this forever but no way in my mind are Poole in the top 3 of the biggest clubs of all time in Speedway.

Surely being a big club in any sport is gauged not on success. Leeds and Newcastle and Sunderland are a bigger football clubs then Leicester........who has had most success recently? Ask anyone in the street to name 5 speedway teams and i doubt anyone would say Poole. Belle Vue, Cradley, Coventry would be the most popular. Most successful club in the last 10 years is Poole. But the biggest speedway club is Belle Vue

Dont agree. Biggest doesnt mean winning things. Who is the biggest footbal club? Manchester United then Liverpool i would guess. Chelsea, Manchester City have all had more success then United or Liverpool but arent bigger clubs. Belle Vue are still the biggest club in speedway..........yes Poole have won the league recently a few times. Poole are the most successful of recent years..................certainly not the biggest club. And the club is well supported when winning things............the fans go missing otherwise

Sidney dont rise to Gater1/ speedwayfanatic...................cant see past Poole for anything. Poole have never been the biggest club in speedway not even close................most successful for a small period yes................which hopefully has ended now.

Give what a rest. Middlo has had success at Poole and has been given plenty of backing to do that money wise by Ford and by Ford buying up an asset base. Im sure most managers would love to have the backing Middlo gets. Rosco has done it on shoestring budgets AND with 2 different sides. Lets see Middlo come out of the easy comfort zone at Poole and go elsewhere to prove himself. This season Poole had clearly the best 1-7 at the start..Swindon in most peoples eyes were going to finish near the bottom. Poole have imploded and are only going to finish 4th because of the mess at Kings Lynn. Swindon on the other hand are title favourites.....tells me all i need to know. And for TeamGB Middlo was manager when we had decent riders.........Rosco has got us to two finals when our team isnt that good. So in my eyes Rosco is quite clearly the better manager

Rosco has won the league with 2 different sides. Middlo had managed a team where money was no object. Rosco is the better team manager. Rosco better with GB as well you quite clearly said Poole have achieved more than any other club!!! Pooles run of success is hopefully over. Biggest clubs over the years are Belle Vue, Coventry and Cradley, you can't just ignore history

Nope not saying that at all. But if you win somewhere and fairly recent as well..............you dont feel like you could do it again?

Cant see why Jack Holder should be banned for Poole...the issue is with Peterborough and Torun.........would be wrong if he wasnt allowed to ride for Poole. And yes Worrall at Monmore is a big loss. Starke can cover him a little bit but Shanes isnt great at Wolves so Starke may have 7 rides here if Worrall is missing

The league is watered down we all know that But the sheer jealously from the Poole duo is amazing. Fools that are clueless but still we get a laugh out of them Then the other one Gater1 who has had another name change to speedway fanatic pops up as well.....what a sad bunch in Dorset. Basically Poole have imploded this season. Were hot favourites only to mess it up somehow. Middlo should take a look at the way Rosco does things! Poole had a number one who they said loved Poole, only rides well for Poole and will rack up the big scores. A solid second heat leader 2 young Aussie stars ( who to be fair have done great) Solid loyal Kyle Newman who they bombed out for a rider of the same ability The best reserve in the league by a mile Good 2 pointer in Shanes Thats the best part of the season that the Poole team has been so so dire I hope Swindon go on to win it been the best team

Im intelligent enough to know that no 2 days are the same. I was number 4 in the country in my 'sport' when i was 10 (retired at 13 lol) My youngest daughter is a British Champion in her sport. I know reality is different but the doom and gloom of some Poole fans re this match i dont get. You won there last time, Masters is out and KK is gone who only got 4. Surely you must feel confident?

Yawn. Chapman did the right thing bombing out 2 whinging Aussies. It may have cost the Stars a chance of catching a shocking Poole side but the man has acted with integrity and made sure the 2 of them couldnt ride over here this season. The Kings Lynn track that all your Poole team thought was ok to have a go on......and the 2 brats kicked up..good riddance and good for Buster.

100% agree Ive said on the first page Wolves by 6. But he says if i believed what i wrote i have no speedway knowledge. He is yet to come back with the answers to my questions lol

You think its 50/50 then you carry on thinking that. Your way off the mark. And as for the headline .........well thats what makes people read the article!! If you believe Tai has only 50% of support and people either love or hate him then there is no point discussing it. And yes there are trolls on this forum .............not really a true reflection

Nope you are correct it doesnt Starke may not have a good night and Lindgren only got 7 from 5 you would expect more. I think Wolves will win by 6 points ive already said that. What i object to is being told i know nothing by Shovlar......its factual that Poole are stronger this time and Wolves will miss Masters Well according to Shovlar and others it wasnt fortunate last time! Wolves by 6

All im trying to say is that if my team had won away at another track, then went back to the same track and had a slightly stronger 1-7 i would be more than hopeful that we would win there again, especially as the home side are missing a rider who scored paid 9 in the meeting and his rides to be taken by other riders who are unlikely to score the same. I have no idea why this is classed as trolling by the same usual Poole fan. Im merely stating facts

Ive said i expected Wolves to win by 6 in an earlier post but now they have lost Masters. Lets look at the facts. Last time Wolves lost Howarth early on. His rides were taken by lesser riders. Wolves lost the meeting This time Wolves have lost Masters. 3 of his rides will be taken by lesser riders. Masters scored 8+1 last time from 4 rides. Will that be matched by his replacements? Poole had KK riding he scored 4 from 4 Kennett is better than KK at Monmore i would expect him to beat that. Kurtz will still be missing and Worrall riding which again is a bonus at Monmore. So last time Poole won by 4 points. Wolves are missing a rider again Poole have a better rider than KK riding for them. A lot will hinge on wether Starke can reproduce his score from last time. Im stunned why Poole fans have no faith in their team.......winning at Monmore last time and now going back stronger??? If Poole lose this by 10 or more then there must be something very wrong in the pirates camp. Ive listed the facts of the last meeting compared to this...if you have a different opinion to those facts then please tell me! Come on then show me your knowledge! What have i written that is false please?? Did you win last time at Monmore??? YES Do you have a stronger 1-7 this time??? YES Are Wolves missing a heat leader??? so Wolves can lose Masters won't affect the result but yet Poole can lose Kurtz and they are severely weakened! Of course Wolves are weakened . 2 lower average riders plus a reserve take his rides!! Do you think his 4 rides will get more than the 9 he got last time when let me remind you , you WON!!!! You have replaced KK who got 4 with a better rider at Monmore in Kennett and you still have track specialist Worrall in there as well!!! No idea why. King came across everyone and clamped them. Left riders nowhere to go. Racing accident Nope went to Tenerife with my wife and children and another family. Left 22nd July came home 2nd August Hope that clears it up
