  1. Yep i agree that the racing at Ipswich isnt great at all really. My point is that if i was to go to away meetings, and the chances are im unable to, then i would certainly pick where i went. Best tracks in the league are Belle Vue, Somerset and Wolves so if did go to an away meeting i would pick those. Logistically Rye House and Kings Lynn are the nearest. Im lucky that currently the best away track in my league, Peterborough , is also the closest.
  2. Ive got nothing against Doyle, want him to be World Champ this season as he deserves it. But he was a bit over the top last night with his remarks. Wasnt so long ago that he was guilty of over riding in some gp's and causing crashes. Plus he needs to learn the art of team riding.................Ward and Holder were good at it and anyone watching Tai getting Holder home in the pairs will understand the skill involved there. Maybe Rosco just tells Doyle to go out and win his races ad the rest can take care of itself
  3. Why will he be sticking it up to me? Couldnt give a monkeys t0ss if he wins it, and lets be fair they should walk the pairs. He has shown no respect for your club and neither has your promoter..if your fine with that then so be it. Just shows how bad your team is really when you can have 2 of the leagues best riders..............win the fours without one of them .................but be so far off the pace in what really matters in the league. Very poor management to build a side the way you have..............with the biggest home track advantage in the league.
  4. Spot on To be fair when Crumpie was younger he was a bit of a fool and to a lesser extent Ryan Sullivan as well. But they all knew how to conduct themselves. Todd Wiltshire , Boycey (one punch apart) Lyons, Crump, Adams, Parker Now we has Ward, Holder, Batch, Doyle................all egotistical If Tai cant win the world title then i want Doyle to as he missed out last season so in my eyes deserves it................but he made himself look foolish last night, dragging himself down to the levels of Ward and Holder.....................and he cant team ride
  5. Wouldnt go to any of those tracks in our league.........have a family to worry about which is far more important to me then any speedway meeting. I used to do the Northern Tour years ago, Berwick, Edinburgh and Glasgow back in 1989 for a few years after. But i was mid teens then so much easier for me Been to Peterborough twice this season good track and good racing you see. As i said if we went back to the top flight why would i waste my money and fuel going to one of the poorer tracks in the league. Its not just Poole that isnt very good, after last night i doubt i would go much to Swindon either. Rye House is less than an hour for me but i dont really like the racing there much either. Kings Lynn is a 2 hour drive and we used to go there when Mark Loram rode there but much like Poole it has gone downhill in the last 10 years
  6. Midlands or Dorset for intelligence................hmmm
  7. Peterborough fans should make their voice heard towards Holder next time he can be bothered to show up. He has shown total disregard for your club. If an Ipswich rider did this i wouldnt want him to ride for my club again. I bet Panthers fans still give him a heros reception
  8. Thats nice well i guess by his updates that indicated not much if any passing and yours that indicated more you must have been watching 2 different meetings. Pirate Bazz also seems to think there wasnt much action either. Maybe if Ipswich get promoted i might come down to Poole but its a long way to go to see average racing , much rather trek to Belle Vue , Somerset and Wolves to be honest
  9. Obviously the guy doing the updates had a different opinion to you. As Pirate Baz says the only passing seemed to be coming out of the second bend down the backstraight, which appeared to happen twice. Other than that every race says from the gate unless a rider made a mistake Only 2 passes on updates, Lahti on Riss in heat 3 and King on Lahti in heat 15
  10. Its easy to manage a team when you are handed the best riders........lets be fair Middlo doesnt have to do much the riders were just better than other teams. He might be Mr nice guy but that doesnt make him a good manager. And yes as i said as well Middlo isnt a patch on Adams and Rosco is better to. His record is because he has had the best teams season after season. Lets see him manage another club. Could he have done at Swindon what Rosco has done?? Middlo is a good manager........................but the best ....................not by a long way
  11. I get what your saying but some riders deserve a wildcard like Holder and Hancock. I also think the likes of Lindback and Pawlicki are better riders than Milik , Kildemand, Madsen and Thorsell. Lebedevs could be a good shout but i feel riders like Hancock, Holder, Pedersen , Iversen, Lindback and Pawlicki would be chosen ahead of Lebedevs. You have to admit this season is a very strong line up and finishing 9th or 10th in that field is no disgrace.
  12. I know he has but some riders handle that sort of schedule better than others. Its why in my post i put i cant see 'many top riders' coming back to ride here if it was Monday night as a regular night
  13. Its not crap just very poor by Pooles standards. You would have been taken off to the funny farm if you had said at the start of the season that KK, Newman and Klindt would be replaced by Kennett, Lahti and Starke. Poole have been fortunate that Kings Lynn imploded or i reckon they would have got 4th. Poole could still hold on to 4th in my opinion but cant see them beating any of the top 3 over 2 legs.
  14. Cant see many top rider doing Poland on a Sunday, back to the UK for Monday and Sweden on a Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday are the best 2 days to try and get the better riders
  15. After the challenge has now passed and with the injuries everyone has got then its a difficult position for choosing wildcards. Hancock Holder Pedersen All former world champions and 2 are injured , this means that maybe for the service they have given they will be 3 of the wild cards. I also feel Iversen with his recent record of 3rd , 11th (missed last 3 gp's through injury) and 8th deserves another go. Look how Lindgren has done when many thought him finished. Others that could come into contention are Lindback , Zager and Pawlicki. Depends which way the organisers go but i think it will be a disgrace if Hancock doesnt get one. My opinion is it will be Hancock , Holder, Iversen, Lindback (if he misses out) If Lindback gets in then i can see Pawlicki being chose over Nicki P
  16. Why do we need 2 Danes?? I know we have 2 Swedes and now likely 2 Brits but they have qualified on merit. In my opinion none of the wild cards will be new riders to the series. Hancock and Holder as past world champions deserve at least 1 wild card Iversen is now out for the season and should get 1 as well. This leaves 1 space which will either go to Nicki P, Lindback, Zagar or Pawlicki Why is he finished as a title contender?? Hancock went 13 years between titles, and even had to go through the challenge one year...............would have been easy to say he was finished. Who would have thought Lindgren would be doing as well as he has. In the last 4 years Iversen has been 3rd , 11th (when missing the last 3 rounds) 4th and 8th. Yes this season he hasnt been as good but surely he deserves a wildcard. And MJJ??? There are 3 Danes ahead of him in Iversen, Pedersen and Kildemand. MJJ hasnt kicked on at all and should not be in a GP series
  17. With Iversen and Hancock out injured for the remainder of the season thats 2 of next years wild cards taken up. Should they not make the top 8 then i can see possible wildcards for Lindback, Zagar and Pawlicki For this meeting surely they should look at the challenge and give Prem.Pawlicki and or Laguta a go
  18. correct, riders taking the mickey out of the sport over here. Peterborough taking the mickey out of their own fans as well
  19. Surely you know everything going on with your club, surely you can get to Mark direct??? As far as im aware Mark got on ok with Middlo...............other people at Poole not so much I have no idea why the topic of what the riders think of him has anything to do with it. Im stating my opinion and that is that other managers are better. If Poole dont win the league in the next few years then maybe its his time to stand down............or he could end up like an Arsene Wenger figure
  20. Suggest you read my posts properly dear boy! 1. Said Middlo was a good manager..............can you read that a GOOD manager 2. Not as good as Rosco or Adams.......................can you read that.............its called opinion Now bless your heart im sure you have more trolling to do re Tai on other threads
  21. Yes his record speaks for itself, at the club that has had the best backing and an astute promoter. I think the vast majority of the managers could have managed Poole during those times. If anyone cares to read the thread then they will see ive said Middlo is a good manager.............just there are certainly better ones. Jim Lynch is an awful team manager but its about opinion, i dont rate Mark Lemon that much to be honest. Given the resources that Middlo has had over the years im pretty sure that Rosco and Adams would have done the same. Garry May probably as well. Do i think Middlo is as good as Rosco or Adams? No Is he better than most of the rest well yes.
  22. And what does that have to do with anything?? Got to be honest when i go Ipswich im not watching what Richie Hawkins does either but i can clearly see if i agree with his decisions. I know your not Mr Intelligent but its my opinion that there are better managers in the league if you can understand that! And enlighten me why i have to see him every week to have an opinion!!!!
  23. Sorry although an Ipswich fan i dont mind Peterborough and at least i get to see good racing if i go there. Just think your promotion have let you down badly this year. Cant you do something with that Corbynfan troll?
  24. Not sticking the knife in just think he is an average manager that gets given the best teams to work with most seasons. When that team isnt good enough Matt Ford changes it more than any other promoter, but yet it seems Middlo struggles when he doesnt have the best team. Rosco has 2 titles with 2 different teams, who both seasons where clearly not the best teams and again this season. If Middlo was to manage another team and do well then maybe his stock will rise but i would totally say there are better managers at Wolves, Swindon and Somerset than Middlo. Im sure everybody off track has issues to deal with so if you cant do your job with those issues then leave. Its the same in all walks of life. As i said not about sticking the knife in its about opinion and Middlo isnt the best manager by some way in the league in my opinion. Football managers can do well with the best team but see how they go when they dont. Im sure most managers would get Manchester United and Manchester City near the top of the league with the teams they have...speedway is no different
  25. Moron Your club are showing zero respect for their own fans and speedway in general Do everyone a favour you little cretin and bog off
