I agree with the fact Doyle deserves a world title......but personally i hope the top 8 in Cardiff is Woffy, Cook, Kildemand, Lindback, Holder, Iversen , Zagar, Zmarzlik , that way Tai can edge closer to the top and try to pursue the 3rd World title. Never thought i would see an English rider win 2 world titles let alone 3.

I can see a Wolves win by 10-12. You was at Lynn wasnt you? You going tonight? -
Being patriotic i want either Tai or Cook to win. Barring that then definately Doyle. Had the world title cruelly robbed from him last year and isnt getting any younger so would love to see him win it this year. Riders like Dudek and Zmarzlik have many years left ahead of them. Hoping for a safe meeting

Nice to see others getting mad at Shovlar. The man is simply a troll and uses a poor man being unwell for another daft post. November 2003 I caught tonsillitis off of my daughter. This morphed into strep A pneumonia. I was in a coma for 3 weeks (when my work colleagues changed my avatar!). I'm lucky to be here but this I think is the first time I've mentioned it on the forum. I was 11 stone 8. Don't smoke either and rarely drink. I was struck down. To slate someone for their weight whilst they still not right is crass at best

oops facts really aren't your strong point. Have a look at Thorsells last away scores! In fact he has done fine away all season. Really best to keep quiet instead of putting your foot in it all the time making yourself look silly -

yawn. Wouldn't know a good race track if it smacked you in the face true.... Poole have form for flaky Poles missing matches. Eastbourne anyone?? -

Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
ive watched all the tracks with the possible exception of Rye House (though I have been there) lots of times on tv. As I said it's my opinion but it's surely obvious that you don't need to go to Belle Vue to realise it's the best track! World Cup last year proved that's -
Good news for British speedway then!

You mean the second best track in the top flight after Belle Vue?? Wolves should be to strong as Poole still have the worst number one in the league still riding though Hans and Starke will do ok. Lahti scored very well round there last time which was 4 years ago. Holder was poor on his first visit and Kurtz is poor round there so you wont miss him Ironically Newman and Klindt were Pooles best 2 riders there and both no longer ride for the club. Last time your reserves scored 19 and Wolves scored 6 so basically you 'had them on toast' last time. Kurtz is missing ....im sure r/r will cover his 4 points from last time. Also Schlein replaces r/r for Wolves which yielded 3 point last time. You lost by 10 last time.............how can any of the above make you think you will get a point! -
Rye House V Wolves Saturday 15th July.
Gavan replied to tocha's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Keep on trolling lol Belle Vue spent good money to get Tungate over Swindon..............hows that going?? Oh and Lindgren isnt on big money.....far less than Zagar was on lol -
Lahti is an ok signing but who else was there? Im awaiting Starman to welcome him to the club...............something along the lines of ' always wanted to ride for Poole'.......'if he came back to the UK it would only be for Poole'..............'Matt Ford has had him in mind for years'...............'will improve his average at Poole'

Poole Pirates Vs Swindon Robins 19/07/17
Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Wolves will top the league and will choose Poole if Poole make the top 4. The way Swindon are going they will cruise into the top 4. Poole away and Kings Lynn away the 2 hardest matches they have left. They have Leicester and Somerset twice at home as well Poole and Lynn could be battling it out for 4th and could even come down to the last 2 matches against each other at the end of August. Pooles next 3 matches away are Wolves , Swindon and Belle Vue...........not easy..........and with all 3 of those still to come to Wimborne Road and Wolves away for a second time as well, its a tough run for the pirates -
Really? His first 2 home scores were 7 then 8 (no wins) Since then he has failed to score more than 6. Last week 5 from 4 at home v Kings Lynn...............tries when he comes out of the second bend in front otherwise doesnt bother. 5 rides at Lynn .............3 retirements and 2 race wins after Kings Lynn had given up........hardly an improvement. If Poole want to have any sort of chance of firstly making the play off and then actually doing something in them , they need far far more then what they are getting
-
Swindon will make the top 4 and will be a real danger with Doyle to come back
-
seriously!!! No way do I want any track to ever close. Poole to win nothing is fine but never to close
-
Well your replying to a Kings Lynn fan not a Coventry one first off And secondly, why is there some strange mentality in Dorset that the fans gloat over other tracks closing
-
Nah not really...my cousin lost his dad to cancer a few years back. His dad was a big fan of grasstrack (his brother in law was Ray Andrews sidecar British Champion in 1980) though wouldnt expect you to know anything before 2010 probably. As we moved to watching speedway he used to sponsor riders £50 most weeks (he owned his own business) at Rye House, Bobby Garrard, Kerry Gray to name but 2. We then went to Hackney and there were 2 juniors Mark and another one who he used to help out each week. Mark at that time was young 14/15 and at that stage every penny helped. So as i said not embarrassing at all..............if you think taking the rise out of someones deceased family then so be it. Im sure my cousin would like to put Shovlars hat on straight quite frankly
-
Would love to bump into you someday with my cousin in tow and then you can say to his face about the relationship with Mark his dad had..........im sure he would welcome your thoughts. Dont fret bless you, ive forgotten more about the sport then you will ever know..........and your blaming me as a problem for speedway pillock! I have a life the means i cant go speedway to much............you obviously dont...........
-
