You and your facts are pretty much wrong as always Perks scores away from home for Rye House: Swindon 3 Wolves 4 Poole 0 Lynn 5 Leicester 6 Swindon 4 Belle Vue 4 His away scores for Wolves: Rye 4 Belle Vue 4 Somerset 0 So he rode the Rye track fine when he was there and had the odd decent away score. He doesnt go great at Wolves but his away scores are what you would expect At the end of the day he isnt good enough to be a number 6. Nothing to do with being made to feel welcome by the promotion or fans...........you really are a strange one

Poole Vs Rye House Thurs 10/8/17
Gavan replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poole surely must win this by around 10 i would say but it could be interesting. Kings Lynn imploding has helped Poole stay 4th but Somerset are catching but i think will fall short. However if Poole do lose tonight then Somerset ride at home to Leicester before Poole ride again and could go level on points. But Poole now have 4 home meetings on the trot starting tonight and then they have a home and away against a very weak Kings Lynn side so should in my opinion just about hold on. Wouldnt it be a strange old season if 2 teams totally written off at the start in Swindon and Somerset make it to the play offs! -

Poole Vs Rye House Thurs 10/8/17

makes more sense if so. Still wouldnt have used Holder would have used Kennett. I was shocked when i was looking at the updates and it wasnt Hans and Eddie I wouldnt class Hans Andersen as a bottler. By all accounts him and Freddie had a real good tussle in heat 13. He hadnt had a great night but had a fall when in second and then was part of the 8-1 before heat 13. He had nothing to gain by not being in the last heat unless he had bike issues. I would have thought he would have ridden as in that situation as even though he hadnt scored that well he would have been the most likely Poole rider to make a start when needed and get a second place to get Poole a point -
You spoke to Holder did you? Or did you get the message from piratebaz??? How comes on the night of the meeting you were saying the Kings Lynn riders acted appallingly then?? So on the night you were of the opinion that the track was raceable! Now your saying the blame lays at the person who prepped the track!! So which is it??? Was the track raceable.....whcih is what you and piratebaz and all the others were saying.... Or should the meeting have been postponed thus meaning Poole shouldnt have had the 4 points??? CANT BE BOTH CAN IT!!!

Its the biggest issue that nobody on here who is having a go at Chapman seems to have picked up on. Chris Holder and Troy Batchelor moaned about the track, threw their toys out of the pram and refused to ride. Why then should they be able to go to another club, putting other riders out of a job because of their petulant actions?? They should have had a ban from Uk racing and Chapman made sure that happened. I for one think well done. On the night of the match certain Poole fans were very very vocal on here saying that Kings Lynn had a meltdown and refused to race when the track although not perfect was raceable as proved by heat times. The exact same Poole fans now saying the whole fault comes from Busters track prep! You cant say in one breath that Kings Lynn should have raced then say blame the track prep!! Lots of tracks havent been perfect this season but riders get on with it. Im glad Holder and Batch couldnt be employed elsewhere thus putting other riders out of work

Learn some facts little boy. Ulrich and BWD missing........................how is that full strength tool!!! Hopefully Holder will rightly have his 28 day ban in place as well -
Greg Hancock Hurt?

I take on board your answers and yes i understand track craft and yes i did find Mauger boring and to a lesser extent Nielsen but admired their skill. Please dont tell me Greg made more passes than any other rider i dont believe that. Maybe Nicki did and in the heat of the moment it happens.but Hancocks attitude was appalling afterwards -
The track although not great was raceable not just rideable. The riders were getting on with it apart from 2 whingers who have form for this sort of thing. Lets be fair the track at Poole has been far worse and nobody this season has refused to ride. Well done Chapman in making a stand he is fed up with rider power. And yes im glad he stopped the riding elsewhere this season, wont affect eithers pocket as they earn enough elsewhere so why not make them an example and more importantly stop them going anywhere else. Couldnt care less if they dont get a visa next season...dont need riders of their kind throwing their toys out the pram at the first sign of an issue

You love to troll me and try to find where i am. I commented quite a bit on the fours thread which was the last meeting my team rode in. The discussion on this thread at the moment is about the fours and ive had my say elsewhere. It may have escaped your little mind but Ipwich dont have a home meeting until the 17th and our next away match is at Scunthorpe on Sunday which as of yet there is no thread for. Stop following me around like some infatuated child and concentrate on why Poole are garbage at the moment......
-
Poole have messed this season up so much from hot favourite to battling for 4th.........please don't disappoint their fans......let them think Janowski will ride for them again......a little ray of hope bless them
-
In the first meeting you had a tactical and won the race 5-3 You followed that up with a 4-2, 5-1, 4-2, 5-1. This time you got a 5-1 because Schlein fell. You then didnt get a heat advantage so cant really say that this time it helped confidence, maybe more in the first meeting. You had a tactical in the first meeting and a tactical in the second. You lost because Thorsell and Lindgren did better than last time. And Hans didnt. Compensated a bit by Masters rides getting 5 and Kennett doubling KK's score Enough said about it now i said 6 point loss it was 7. I was told i know nothing before the meeting and was told that i was trolling that Poole would keep it close. Funny normally Shovlar and co are vocal towards me, they were before the meeting lol
-
You used a tactical in the first meeting so no difference. I said it would be close and it was.......to be fair it was only Shovlar telling me i was wrong

Not really a fan of Hancock. Boring to watch Gating tart The thing with Pedersen The cheating last year But for all those who say he shouldnt get a wildcard......your talking out your backsides -
Because Poole only rode at Wolves recently it wasnt to difficult to look at the match last night and compare it to the previous one. Im not stupid enough to say that 2 matches are alike as so many things can happen. But when a team goes back to the same track 20 days later with Kennett instead of KK and Wolves without Masters, i didnt think anyone needed to be a genius to have the opinion it would be close. Anyways it was so nice when Shovlar told me i had to knowledge only to completely prove him wrong!!!
-
Never said that. Wolves rode at home to Poole twice in 20 days so of course the current form of the riders was no different. And the previous fixture had a huge bearing as the teams were the same pretty much. I said that if a team can win away , then when they go back to that track with a stronger 1-7 a few weeks later then i couldnt understand why Poole fans expected them to be thrashed at Wolves. Poole thumped Rye House last time though Poole are weaker this time and Rye House stronger. You can use the past match as a guide surely So of course you can use past performances as a guide, though in this case Poole last rode Rye in May so its more of a guess

Poole Vs Rye House Thurs 10/8/17
Gavan replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poole to win this by 10-15. Wasnt that much of improved performance at Wolves when you look at it. Maybe in the fact that the Poole boys showed more fight than last time. Was a point lost for Poole though. If Hans had done better and the correct riders chosen for heat 15 then maybe so. Holder had seen Thorsells back wheel in every race so have no idea why he was in heat 15. Hans had bustled up Lindgren in heat 13 and should have been in. -
Poole (although with 3 home matches on the trot) are not in the play offs yet. I fully expect them to hold on to 4th place but Somerset are 6 back with 2 matches in hand and if Rye win at Poole Thursday (which i doubt) then they will be in the same position. Poole (apart from Lynn) are the current worst team in the league on form. I feel they have enough in hand with matches at home to Rye and Leicester in the next few weeks to keep 4th but they need to be careful.
-
quite a few posts in the first 3 pages saying Wolves by 6. But hey Orion must be going to the same education class as Starman as you both can't read
-
nope not at all. It's on the thread just look. I was a point out!
-
jeez how many more times!!Right I was responding to Shovlar saying Poole would be thrashed. I pointed out how wel you did last time and tongue in cheek put Pooles to lose. Look over the thread I put Wolves by 6 on loads of posts!
-
wow I've seen some bad manager decisions in my time but to put Holder and Lahti in heat 15!!! I'm guessing Poole didn't want a point that was up for grabs!!!! The loss of Worrall and Hans low score hindered Poole but as expected r/r for Masters was no good and Kennett smashed what KK would have got. Well I said Wolves to win by 6......it was 7 !!! Silly Middlo chucking a point away read the thread buddy I said Wolves by 6 loads of times. My response of 'Pooles to lose' was in stark reply to the Poole troll Shovlar who said his team would be massacred. I pointed out that they wouldn't and put it on the end.
-
As expected Poole keeping it close due to Kennett being far better than KK and Masters rides not getting much. Poole would be winning if Hans was doing better and Worrall was fit. All you Poole fans who mocked what I said I await the apologies! Hans and Worrall scored 22 last time that is the issue this time. And Mr Shovlar said I had no knowledge lol

Jack Holder shouldnt be allowed to race in the pairs. If he and his promotion are happy to take the money when a better offer comes along then the BSPA should have the balls to suspend him from future BSPA events

Is This Swindon Team The Best Of Recent Times?
Gavan replied to DC2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Success currently is Poole yes. Crowds well still maybe Poole Name recognition...not at all But i look at it differently i guess. Its opinions but i believe 'biggest' club is the name and crowds not what they have won. Manchester United were still the biggest name in Football even in the 80's before they went on their winning run Poole are currently the biggest draw as they have been successful. And i wouldnt call Preston with 2 league wins in the 1800's as successful really or a big club! My definition of biggest club differs but its opinions and im not arguing about it just discussing it
