  1. Well that was there for the taking for Poole but for what ever reason they failed to take it. Zagar very poor and gifted Poole 3 points once when hitting the fence and another with the engine failure. But apparently according to the troll Kurtz engine failure cost them the meeting! What a strange little bubble that man lives in!!. Good job Ellis wasn't needed in the World Cup half a lap behind in a league meeting but apparently he is a racer and loves these big tracks! Newman was awful. It's ok being good on a poor track at Poole but his away scored could cost Poole. Tried to go between 2 riders them shut off very strange. Hougaard was awful and no replacement for Fricke at all as we all said......oops no the troll said it would make them stronger lol his speedway knowledge is so bad it's quite scary. Tungate massively strengthened the Pirates in place of Hans as again everyone said he would......oops except the troll again dear dear. Holder totally superb absolute masterclass. So the favourites only lost by 3 so at Poole you would expect them comfortably to win hence why they should win the league. Came Ellis and Newman be so poor again? Fricke will make Belle Vue stronger and surely Zagar must do better. Should be tight but Poole still should win
  2. Dont hate Poole or the majority of fans. Just you have a resident idiot and a troll on this forum who quite possibly are the 2 most disliked people on here. They are happy to give the verbals out and then dont like it and cry when they get any back. Look how stupid Starman has made himself look on this thread yet again and how many people tell him so.? For further proof check the horse racing thread! Thing is i often compliment the Poole team, Holder and Ellis in particular, except that tends to get ignored doesnt it. I give my opinion that Newman hasnt been great this season and everyone comes down on you like a tonne of bricks and i hate Poole crops up. Certain Poole fans are decent and you used to be one of them just a shame 2 of you let you down
  3. Yes the leagues are close........indicates how poor the standard is of British riders. Go back to the early 90's and it was 1 maybe 2 premier league boys who made it. I can remember Louis and Les Collins in 1990 and Goodwin in about 93.
  4. How? Said Manchester and Bradford arent speedway towns which can affect attendance. Belle Vue are still the biggest name in UK Speedway mainly due to the success and history of the club irrelevent of how many fans they get through the gate. Who are the biggest 2 clubs in footballs top league? Still Man Utd and Liverpool Hougaard for Fricke makes Belle Vue weaker than Poole with Tungate for Hans. I look at the 2 teams matched up and i can see a Poole win
  5. Of course it matters! If Speedway is a minority sport in Manchester it doesnt matter how you promote it you will still struggle to get people in. Look at Bradfords stadium it was never full as wasnt a speedway town. Its not like Poole where there is nothing to do except stare at a few boats and make sure that your new girlfriend is your cousin. The jealousy coming out of Dorset regarding Belle Vue is so loud. Face facts that speedways biggest club has a great stadium and racetrack, something Poole fans dont seem to like. Back to tonight Poole should win this by 10. An inconsistent Zagar should be outscored by Holder Worrall has gone out of form Fricke missing is a massive blow for Belle Vue..................oh no wait the troll thinks Hougaard is better lol Buck and Kurtz will be more than a match for out of form Cook and Nicholls. And at reserve Newman although having a very poor season flew round here last time. Lets see if the favourites for the title can win away from home
  6. Nope..............you insulted my family many times so i will insult you as i see fit. Take a look you are mocked all the time and are probably the most vilified and despised member on here.
  7. Well done to Stead. Just goes to show the state British speedway is in when 3 of the top 4 from the British Final cant make the top 4 and 2 of them didnt even make the top 6!
  8. village idiot followed by the forums biggest t0sser. Bye
  9. what a pathetic post but to be expected. Tai is 12 behind Doyle so anything could happen. Pillock
  10. Funny thing was that in 1987 (British League) and 1988 (national league) for Hackney ,Mark was pretty much the fastest trapper in the team. No idea why he didnt really continue this from 1989 at Ipswich onwards, but as you say it was great for the viewing public
  11. Nice idea in theory but the only track without a rider is Poole and that wouldnt be a good place to have it. Belle Vue - Cook, Worrall Wolves - Masters Swindon - Josh G Lakeside - Kennett, Lawson Coventry - King , Garrity Kings Lynn - Lambert Leicester - Auty
  12. Jason Garrity has improved this season. Holding a second string position with ease at Coventry and technically a number 1 at Sheffield if it wasnt for rolling averages. He had 5 points form 2 rides in the British Final and then got involved in a barging match and great race in his third before falling an injured in his 4th. Tony Rickardsson took no time at all to bloom. He first rode at Ipswich in the 1991 Billy Sanders memorial at the start of the season and finished runner up against a top field. Later that season he was world number 2, hardly took time to bloom!. Nielsen was dominant in the UK from the early 80's and by mid 80's on the world stage. As look as my bum points south Lewis Bridger will never be as good as Tai Woffinden. Mark Loram was very dedicated and only his gating held him back. His private life went off the rails a bit in the mid nineties and it affected his speedway. John Louis if he started earlier could have been world champ 1991 Ipswich were national league in 1990, World runner up in same season so i agree 100%
  13. Thee is more chance of Holder riding for Poole than Magic or Lindback
  14. Sound like a good team though the chances of Magic and Lindback riding here must be close to zero
  15. And didnt Belle Vue recently get beat by Kings Lynn at home missing their number 1 when Fricke was missing?? If Lynn can win there then so should Poole especially getting track specialist Tungate to ride rather than 'white line' Hans
  16. Laughable you think Hougaard is better that Fricke.......you need to get more knowledge of the sport before you make stupid trolling comments pal. Of course they are weakened anyone with any common sense can see that Great choice of guest for Poole in Tungate who got paid 17 last time where as Hans got 6. Swings this match hugely into Pooles favour. Unless Middlo has an issue getting Tungate motivated And believe it or not Belle Vue are not favourites for the title they are joint with Poole at 15/8 but hey when have you ever had any knowledge pal!
  17. Thats exactly what i do.......unreal comments. Buck and Newman and to a lesser extent Kurtz have had average seasons. Holder started slowly but seems fine and Hans has done all that was required so to Bjarne. Ellis without doubt is Pooles rider of the year. Have i got to praise the whole 1-7????
  18. Well we shouldnt have to many issues against a weakened Sheffield if some of their boys are struggling with injury, plus Howarth never goes well at our place. Im going for a win by about 15 points
  19. spot on which is exactly what i said. Apparantly is absolutely fine for me to say that Ellis is having a good season and has improved. But if i say Newman hasnt improved then im a troll.......got to love some Poole fans logic. Must remember your not allowed to be negative towards any Poole riders
  20. Passing off of every bend??? Well only from one rider. Lambert wasnt great last night but it happens. The only racing line was a out wide but if you got to close you went backwards. Riders lifting all over the place. Look at heat 14 all 3 riders lifted and headed towards the fence allowing Kennett a huge gap to go past. Everyone said Jan O' Pedersen couldnt gate Everyone said Mark Loram couldnt gate Lambert can go the way of Harris or he could go the way of the others time will tell Lol give it up pal Because he rides for Poole im not allowed an opinion right?? Ive praised Ellis or did you miss that conveniently??? If he has mechanical issues has that been all season. i have praised Newman for his efforts but he hasnt come on at all thats my opinion and one shared by many. Ellis has gone past him and so have others, and others have left him behind. If you dont like people having opinions then dont come on a forum! Are you telling me to shut up because i found the meeting boring unless MPT was in the race or because your to precious that i have an opinion on Newmans progress?
  21. Why is it being negative to give an opinion? Kyle Newman is a young brit who gives 110% every time he gets on a bike and has been a good servant for Poole, and is a good rider for them to have in the team and the fans love him. All im saying is he has been left behind by some riders and passed by others. 3 years time we could see Garrity, Worrall, Ellis and Bates in the GB team. Will Newman? Personally i would say no.
  22. With Belle Vue missing home star Fricke and R/R for Nicholls this is Pooles to lose
  23. ive been saying this for a while that he has stalled and not gone on. Yes he has had injuries but he isn't progressing anymore. He gives 100% but last night he had trouble controlling the bike and seemed to only want to ride 1 line about a foot from the fence. The EDR has had success story's notably Garrity and Worrall but Newman and Auty have stood still while riders like Ellis, Bates, and Starke have left Newman behind
  24. we will get a report because Poole have won trust me. He thought before the meeting it could be close when everyone else said it would be a thrashing and now he is gloating it's what trolls do. He reckons there has been good racing but only when Palm Toft has been riding. Boring predictable meeting but you wait for this report it will be worth it
