I think the Tai haters are a tad disappointed that those of us who respect Tai's decision not to ride here are actually in agreement that he shouldnt get a testimonial. Its obvious that the Echo shouldnt have leaked the information but its happened so thats that. If it was the other way round then Poole fans would be up in arms about it. No. To ask for a testimonial and quite rightly not be given one does not mean he has let British Speedway down. His personality isnt liked so he is judged on that rather than what is good for him. He wants to be World Champion and if riding in the UK is not seen as helpful in that ambition then he has no reason to ride here (like 12 of next seasons gp field). I agree that if he doesnt ride over here he shouldnt expect any favours and will get flak from some people and i agree with the decision he shouldnt have a testimonial. But i dont agree that because he is British he must ride over here, especially the state the sport and the top league is in at the moment

I think the reserves will be Kai and Bailey which is pretty good. Rose will be a second string and its wether him and Porsing can up their game which for me will determine where Lynn finish as their reputed top 3 will be the strongest in the league

i agree with what you say. the only teams in my eyes that wont be top 4 are Berwick , Scunthorpe and Workington

The top riders will ride where the money is and where they feel it best suits to take on the demands of a gp season. Holder, Doyle and Lindgren feel the Uk works for them and the other 12 riders dont and i see no issue why riders dont ride here

Cant see beyond Tai or Zmarzlik this season, think Dudek will need a year to settle. 1. ZMARZLIK 2. WOFFINDEN 3. DOYLE 4. SAYFUTDINOV 5. HANCOCK 6. PAWLICKI 7. DUDEK 8. IVERSEN .................... 9. HOLDER 10. PEDERSEN 11. ZAGAR 12. LINDBACK 13. LINDGREN 14. JANOWSKI 15. VACULIK But for me the good news about this series is its the most wide open for years and there will be hundreds of differing opinions as to who will be top 8

Take 2 teams from the 4 mentioned...............Glasgow v Ipswich final..........maybe 1 of Peterborough or Edinburgh will scrape a top 6 place as there are worse teams in the league. But Ipswich, Sheffield, Glasgow and Newcastle look nailed on for the top 4 with possibly Redcar next which leaves that 1 spot up for grabs Berwick, Scunthorpe and Workington look poor sides to me when comparing them to the others

Either way i can see Poole third heat leader being the weakest out of that trio of clubs. Poole will have the advantage at second string The 3 teams mentioned do look far and away the best 3 though

Doyle , Lindgren and Holder are the only gp boys who do so why does Tai get criticised?? As i say he quite rightly doesnt get a testimonial but why whinge that he doesnt ride here?

The Kings Lynn team look favourites to me with Wolves and Poole looking certaintys for the top 4. Holder , KK and Lindgren Lambert, Andersen, Masters Batchelor , Holder, Thorsell Those heat leaders are fairly even but i would say Lynn have the strongest followed by Wolves then Poole Its at second string where Poole should have the edge with Newman and Kurtz but Brady was average last season and let Poole down big time in the play offs and Newman has never yet shown he can be a second string. Howarth could kick on and match Newman , and Porsing and Rose need to step up. At reserve nothing between Pooles and Lynns and Wolves could look weak here. I see Lynn coming top followed by Poole and Wolves. 4th place could be anyones and the lack of a side form Leicester or Belle Vue leads me to say Coventry at the moment with the 2 best reserves in the league it is a bit of a strom in a teacup but imagine it being the other way round........Some Poole fans would have a meltdown! sais is that french? no schoolboy what i did was talk about Kyle Newman.......trouble is a few of your fans are so precious you cant have a debate on the Poole thread. any young British rider i want to see improve irrelevant of who they ride for. And yes as he rides for us i want him to be smashing the scores in. Hume is a fantastic talent reminds me of a young Scott Nicholls and will make a mockery of his 2.00 starting average

exactly what i said. on that average and the fact he tries 100% he has to go in the team. im hoping he kicks on as he rides for us now. In the watered down league he should have no issue upping his average in the top flight. The problem then comes (like Ellis) if he does to well

i disagree. At the moment i feel Newman is the better rider but yes Starke is catching him up. One good British Final doesnt make him a better rider in my eyes.

i like Newman as a rider and while he has that average he will always get in Pooles team if your looking at British riders around the same level then he has fallen behind Garrity and Steve Worrall and other like Starke and Wright are catching him. Auty is similar to Newman in that he hasnt really kicked on like i thought he would. 100% agree. I havent once said Kyle shouldnt be in Pooles team , i was questioning his improvement for Poole.
