Wolverhampton V Poole. Elb. 5/9/17
Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So R/R got more than Holder has on his last 2 visits. Nicholls doing better than Hans and Buck would have got a few more than Klindt. Lindgren and Tai get 10 between them and Poole should have wrapped this up -

Poole yet again showing why they are favourites for the title. All the crap from the usual suspects cuts no ice with real speedway fans who understand the sport. When u have 2 reserves who can heavily outscore their opponents then it always helps. Favourites for the league as they always have been -

and the award for daft statement on this thread goes to?????? -
Did i say i dont like people who dont believe Shovlar?? Nope! I said i find it funny that his reputation as a wind up merchant doesnt seem to make a difference to peoples opinions about wether he is telling the truth. Until he names his source then why should he be believed. Oh and if you car to have read the thread you will see i have said what was said

Poole are known to get guests for tricky away tracks. The best (or worst) example was at Eastbourne. Only used Tungate and Holder that day. Roped in small track specialist Mikkel Bech and got Richie Worrall in at reserve. The 2 Poles Pawlicki and Magic rode the day before and then amazingly 2 days after!! Horses for courses The same Tungate that is in flying form at the moment and is likely to get more than Buck would have done! Pool have form for this sort of thing happens a lot -
its easy to hear one story and then see it all passed down through whispers. I know Tai Woffinden didnt quit GB over pay in the world cup. Im staying off of the thread as its utterly pointless. Shovlar is god then Ive met Norrie twice..........but not regarding this matter. Anyways as i said im staying off of a thread where the posters believe Shovlar who flat out wont name anyone who told him! Crazy

Not much. My cousin was talking to an ex mechanic who had been to a funeral recently. There wasnt a real reason given other than he is fed up with the lax attitude of the authorities. Money had no part to play in the thing at all but people will say what they want to bash Tai when they can.

So your happy to believe the words of as someone else put it ' the forums biggest wind up merchant ' But yet you wouldnt be happy if it was straight from Tai himself................priceless.

im talking to myself as we are the same person lol. but tricky logging in and out again so quick. I think Poole will lose as well by about 10. -
I find some peoples views very entertaining. Steve Shovlar , well known as the biggest troll on the forum puts out a statement as to why Tai has quit GB. He refuses to name his source which is nice and convenient , yet some people believe him. I state my source where i got my information from, admittedly passed down through 3 different people and could be wrong, and people are still believing Shovlar!! Name names Shovlar or the things you are saying will be passed off as total bull as usual

Theres a shock , Hans and Buck are injured and in step 2 riders who are proven at Wolves, nothing unusual for Poole to adopt this approach. I see Matt Ford still assumes Kurtz can ride at reserve. He either doesnt know the rules or is blatantly cheating, could any Poole fan tell me which? -

you mean Tungate one of the most in form riders replacing one out of form? -
yes but this Poole you can't expect them to ride with riders missing lol

he should be told to ride then but no Poole will happily go horses for courses. Oh and it is a statement from Ford regarding Kurtz. We are told he knows the rules well he either doesn't know them or it's cheating -

Lets all laugh at the same old crap that Poole and Matt Ford try every season. Buck shock horror is injured!!! Oh just at the time he has to go to a track he can't get round! Ford then blatantly wants to break the rules and move Kurtz to reserve! Every season the mob on the south coast use trick after trick to con their way to the title. Let's hope the cheats don't prosper -
They were and Tai always had the edge over the other 2 though time would have maybe told a different story. I just think that riders who have graced the series for a number of years and done themselves proud (especially a 3x world champion like Nicki) deserve that 1 chance at least to put a poor season behind them. Thats why i feel Zagar, Iversen and Pedersen in particular warrant a wild card. Emil is arguably better than all 3 of them but he hasnt ridden in it for a few years now, so i would definatly put the three riders i mentioned ahead of him. Riders like Jonsson who have struggled for a number of years should be left out now
-
true. same old people quick to say Kings Lynn need to fit Poole in. Well if Lynn are offering Poole dates that Poole dont want then they are as much to blame as Lynn

Wildcards 2017.....
Gavan replied to Panthers89's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
In one way or another, Janowski, Pawlicki, Iversen , Zagar and Pedersen will be in next years series either by rights or a wildcard. Iversen Zagar and Nicki are GP regulars who have always been top 8 so all 3 in my eyes would deserve to have a wildcard, when you consider how many Lindgren and Jonsson have had over the years. Janowski and Kildemand could be at risk though i think Magic will be top 8. Would Kildemand get the last spot? Have they ever put 4 wildcards back in who rode in the previous year? I would pick Zagar over Kildemand as i believe Zagar should be given 1 opportunity after his years in the GP You then have the conundrum of Hampel and Emil. Its fair to say Hampel should get one after his injury and he has rode well since coming back. Emil great talent but i would make him qualify personally. So if the top 8 stays as it is now i would have Iversen, Zagar, Pedersen and Hampel -
completly misunderstanding what I'm saying. The sheer ability and talent of these guys in a watered down elite league will always see the likes of Holder and Jonsson towards the top of the averages. They simply don't have their best stuff here or prepare properly for it. The year after Mark Loram was world champion he rode for Peterborough in the UK and I believe Luxo stars in Sweden and a big move toBydgoszcz in Poland. All 3 were new clubs. I can categorically tell you that he was on very big money in Poland almost treble that in the UK. If he didn't perform he wasn't paid or under threat of the sack. Sweden paid him more as well. 100% Mark had his best engines out in Poland. He was riding big tracks as a home club in the UK and Poland but he never used his Polish engines over here. His average in the UK went down and not through effort but through importance. It went on them and it goes on now
-
Its nothing to do with effort its to do with machinery choices and money basicallly. If you get paid double in Poland what you do in England where would your best bikes be??? Where would your top pit crew be??? Its not rocket science that the elite league is seen as an after thought by some of the top guys. Holder Iversen Zagar Jonsson, none of those really pulling up any trees over here and riders like Janowski and Pawlicki soon disappear when they realise they could be close to being a world champ. Fair play to Doyle who is loving his speedway life and seems to want to ride every day of the week. He has signed for 2 more years but i have to wonder if his form will dip in that time. Of course ability wide the likes of Holder and Iversen will always win races but its not always lack of effort its just that its not important
