  1. 100% right, the forums biggest stirrer and troll says something that everyone believes its brilliant! Oh and for those wondering my original source was Norrie Allan.................i await Shovlar to give us his
  2. yeah i agree, as i said the edr has worked from time to time just not all the time. And yes its one thing getting easy rides in the elite league but it doesnt bring them on hugely. Kyle Newman is a case in point. Been at reserve for what 6 years now and in that time cant even hold down a heat leader berth at Premier League level. He has stalled in his progress while Worrall and Garrity have flown past him. I think the EDR has been massive for Worrall who was a few years back thinking of quitting. By winning a few races the confidence comes back. But you are right talent and ability will always come through but i do think the EDR does help some riders
  3. Spot on. Jacobs and Ellis this season have come on in leaps and bounds. Ellis was already some way ahead of Jacobs at the start of the season for some trying to compare the 2. Even riders like Clegg at Wolves have come on as well. The system does work form time to time as proven by the success of Garrity and Worrall But then you also get those who have just stalled like Howarth and Newman
  4. I think people are missing the point: Yes Poole could have brought in Pedersen as a reserve replacement So im in no doubt kyle didnt touch the tapes deliberatly However the point remains that a tape touch should put the team of the rider that did that at a disadvantage. Poole were arguably stronger in the re run so therefore the exclusion didnt in anyway penalise Poole. Before the usual outcry , Poole did nothing wrong, but this is a rule that needs looking at. Either Newman should have gone from 15 metres (as he would have had to in heats 2 or 12) or if they feel the other reserve is going better then bring him in but off of 15 metres as well.
  5. a la exactly the same as Shovlar. I have a very reliable source thanks
  6. As usual the Poole troll is totally wrong. I have a source as well and Team GB money has nothing to do with Tai's reasons. Darcy was messing around on facebook just love the way the usual band of fools jump on it. Let Shovlar continue his Tai crusade it just shows him up for what he is
  7. I find it hilarious that the Poole troll has a pop at the Wolves track! Obviously he missed the highlights of the Lakesude meeting for example. Reckons people only pass at Wolves if the away rider makes a mistake lol. Seem to remember a recent meeting on sky and all the riders were hitting ruts and shooting across corners! Wolves is a great track with lots of lines. Some people seem to think speedway is all about riding flat out! Well Wolves regularly provides better racing than every track in the league and to say that Poole is second only to Belle Vue is total crap
  8. you apparently don't know if I've posted as you have blocked me yet when you win you immediately use my name!!! I predicted a Poole win even stating what the riders would score and pretty much got it spot on. Thank you for your concern thank you just seems some people don't think before they post
  9. OOPS I said Poole by 10 but it was 11. Most of what I predicted came true but to be fair most of it was obvious Again to easy to predict The Worrall brothers got 15 last time, switch roles and they get 9 Poole reserves beat their counterparts 18-5 Buck and KK got 19 between them Blatantly obvious to anyone that Poole are still hot favourites for the league. Only a troll would disagree Ellis and Kurtz still a concern though.
  10. Last time against Belle Vue Kurtz and Ellis got 8 from reserve and Pedersen and Newman got 9 from the main body. Steve Worrall got 12 from reserve last time and Richie 3 from the main team. Jacobs got 1. I would expect the Poole reserves tonight Pedersen and Newman to get 13 or 14 between them minimum and the Belle Vue reserves maybe 8. I would also expect Ellis and Kurtz to get more than 9 between them as well. Add in last time Hans and Joonas got 15 and this time its a stronger pair in Buck and KK, then i would expect Poole by at least 10. As i said earlier this is speedway it doesnt pan out the way it should, but the riding order tonight is more beneficial to Poole then it was last time. (i.e Newman not at heat leader and Holder not waste at 4)
  11. i fancy Poole by 10 especially as they will be stronger with KK in for the 'injured' Hans. Holder should outscore Zagar Ellis is good at home so should outscore Steve Worrall KK is better than any of Nicholls Cook and Fricke. I would expect Kurtz to do better than Fricke Buck has been poor so his score may prove pivotal. Newman and Bjarne should outscore their direct opposition. Obviously all the above wont happen but the majority will which would see a Poole win
  12. ah bless you little boy misreading my post. I said it would be a huge loss of Ellis was missing at home. That's called praise dear boy. Now run along sweet cheeks
  13. Yes his dad who blocked me because i said Bates had been better than Ellis internationally and that in my mind that was enough to have him as reserve for the world cup. Apparantly i wasnt allowed to have that opinion. Some people are just so touchy. Obvious that Adam has been better in the league and never said otherwise. Shame his dad got silly really as its good to see a former Witch make progress
  14. Does the rules allow Ellis to ride for Poole or Eastbourne? The form Ellis is in at home it would be a big loss
  15. I think Poole will have 2 much for Belle Vue at Wimborne Road. Ellis is a bit of a liability away but at home he is a strong second string and i would expect Bjarne and Newman to outscore their opposing numbers easily enough. The only issue is that Ellis should be lining up for Eastbourne Fricke isnt great at Poole and if KK rides i would fancy Poole to win by 10. I would fancy Poole to beat Belle Vue over 2 legs I would fancy Belle Vue to beat Wolves over 2 legs I would fancy Wolves to beat Poole over 2 legs. No idea who would win the league though i would love the countrys biggest club, Belle Vue, to be back on top
  16. Hello Mcfly!! He tried to hire some tracks and didnt get help. The authoritys wouldnt offer help either.
  17. Keep up sweet cheeks, there was no help in setting up the training schools. I have been told that he requested a number of tracks to help and one in particular wanted to have ride and slide days as they call them rather than do the training schools. He had no help from the powers that be. Tai couldnt possibly be at every training school and help in setting them up and running them wasnt forthcoming
  18. Team GB have been paid the same for years and this year was no different. Tai knew the pay deal and hasnt moaned about it once according to my source. He hasnt quit Team GB due to the payments at the world cup but for other reasons including the lack of support for training schools.
  19. And thats how it should be. Speedway at the highest level is about the individual not a team. I see your are not worried about the other top boys not riding here or the fact that the level of form displayed by Holder, Jonsson, Iversen and Zagar are down on where they should be. This is because the UK isnt a priority to them, why you dont get this is beyond me. The only rider doing it at a high level everywhere is Doyle, and i wouldnt mind betting that if he isnt world champion this year that he will sit out the UK next season as he strives to be World Champion. Tai is riding in the leagues that give him the best opportunity to be World Champion on tracks similar to the GP's. Same as the vast majority of the GP field.
  20. I think in current form Pawlicki and Dudek will qualify Think the next 2 spots will be between KK and Vaculik and im tipping Buck as an outsider. I dont care how many Poles are in the series if they are the best riders. Lambert isnt as good as Dudek so i would much rather see Dudek in the gp than Lambert for now. Plus Nicki has to be a shoo-in for a wildcard and i would say Iversen as well
  21. ive included below my response to Shovlars match report below. For sure im trying to wind him up, exactly what he does when posting which is ok for him but woe betide anyone doing it back If you can find any form of aggression in my post below then please tell me well ive read and reread it and nope im struggling to see anything aggressive in there. Or maybe i shouldnt say lol or call the report biased!!! I merely commented on his report .............sorry must remember to agree with everything! Is it wrong to say Hans may not have got 8 out of 9? Is it wrong to say Newman was poor (oh and i praised him for his performance at Belle Vue) Is it wrong to say Ellis struggles at 2 away from home? (and again i praised him for his good season) Is it wrong to say if one rider (Pedersen) had the right set up then maybe he should have passed this on? By all means you dont have to like my posts but dont just jump on the Gavan is aggressive bandwagon quoting a post that simply isnt Havent abused you once but your obviously a tad precious
  22. ah bless you little man. Ive taken more than my fair share over the years and havent gone to the mods once. Now it just gets to the point where if its ok for others than its ok for me. Bye
  23. He didnt say the best this country has ever produced but the best this country has produced. To say he isnt half the rider is a strange comment. Only Craven has won similar world crowns and Tai isnt finished yet He deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the riders you have listed, and yes he is better than Wigg and Tatum and Louis.
  24. Have a good luck through the thread and find where i have been aggressive?? Only when Pinny rears up with vile comments have i responded. Oh and as for the reporting im happy to announce it every single time. Do you know why? Because im sick of the same individuals doing it to me. It is childish and pathetic but its been done 4 times to me and the people that reported had great pleasure in doing so and then mocking the fact i wasnt here. I was reported and then banned for calling people numpty, clown and idiot, and these words obviously cut so deeply they reported it and enjoyed telling me so. The same people then call me an idiot, moron and cock, then tell me i would have been better off running down my mums leg, and said my uncle groomed Mark Loram. Your telling me they dont deserve a ban but i did!! Sorry but im giving them back a taste of their own medicine
  25. are you 12? i wouldnt bottle it buddy im just not pathetic enough to box over it, im actually an adult. Might ask my cousins what they think though after your words about their deceased dad. I think they would smash you all the way back to oz
