Kerr is a better rider than Newman. Rode Number 1 for Newcastle and ended up with a better average than Newman. The only thing now will be how much Kerrs crash has affected him. However if i agree that Newman is far more exciting than Kerr who is basically a very good trapper

All the teams look average this season thats the way the sport has gone, but Poole and Belle Vue look by some way the best 2 bully him lol if you think thats bullying thats a very strange interpretation. Check this thread re Holder Check the horse racing thread. Its Starman who abuses people calling them names when he disagree with them. Then when he is factually proved to be incorrect he gets even worse. If he is going to verbally attack people he has to expect some back especially when he has been proved wrong. Lisa -Colette has never been heckled on here because like the majority of Poole fans she supports her club and puts her opinions across in a dignified way and is able to actually hold a debate. She tolerates me which is a start lol. Oh and if she is proved to be wrong about something she holds her hands up

go back over the last ten pages of the thread not slagged off anything apart from Starman which everyone does as he is an embarrassment to your club spot on. Like Starman when proved wrong about something there is no apologies just tantrums

Not so much the elitist posts that get on peoples nerves, we expect that from a successful team and i dont have an issue with it. What grates people is his inability to have a discussion, the fact that he quite clearly isnt intelligent and that he will not back down on anything even when quite clearly its been proved with factual evidence that he is wrong. On here regarding Holder, on the horse racing thread re weights in a race, on the somerset thread re Jack Holder are 3 that easily spring to mind. On all occassions he verbally attacked everyone who disagreed with him called everyone names (go play with traffic on the a14, tw.t, clown) were just some of the names he called people. He then flatly refuses to apologise for this name calling and crawls into a hole. Then he got me banned for calling him a numpty and someone else called him darling and he threatened to ban them! He cant take it but is happy to dish it out. Look im not a fan of Matt Ford and yes some fans on here from Poole are a little bit OTT with the stuff they come out with and some are absolutly fine. I go over the top sometimes but if you read 99% of my posts its mainly due to one person and the sheer idiotic stuff he writes.

Been on other threads today and just read the last 10 pages of this one and absolute comedy gold again. The man has no idea when to stop. Ridiculed by even his own fans. i agree with what you have written totally. i have no isues with fans supporting and defending their club. Clubs will always have riders who only want to ride for 1 club and yes Holder is a prime example of this, but there is planty of other riders at other clubs who feel the same about their club. Just the usual numpties who believe a majority of riders only want to ride for Poole like Gomolski. Bet if he was offered a good deal on a track he likes (Kings Lynn?) he would ride for them. Lets be fair Darcy turned out for Swindon and he didnt have to if he didnt want to

Still see the same old guff trotted out by the same usual suspects. Not tarring true fans here but not everybody only wants to ride for Poole and Poole only but thats how some people see it. There are always riders who wouldnt ride for Poole , Jonsson Woffinden for example, think you might also struggle to get Doyle to ever ride there. Poole are no more special to ride for than any other club. Look at Cook at Belle Vue, loves the club. Certain Poole fans are happy to win the league and stuff the sport. They are not speedway fans at all. And again this isnt every Poole fan and the forum members can quite easily name who they are

I agree but the team has to end up being weaker. You have 13.5 left for 2 riders to replace Cook and Sedgman so whoever you get it will be much weaker than last year. Play offs will probably happen. I know you had to weaken due to the averages but Cook and Sedgman were pretty good i guess for around 20 points a meetin. Unlikly to get 2 riders to fill that void

Good signing to get Sam back Has the basis of a decent side but you still have a huge Cook size hole to fill

Think the new photos of the stadium look fantastic. It can only be good for the sport that the sports biggest club has the national stadium as it may help attract new people to the sport.

It is a cracking top 4 but im happy enough with my teams top 4 against them. King v Lawson. Covatti v Barker. Kerr v Summers. Risager v Worrall. Good match ups but our 5th rider Sargeant is better than Lunna. All being said though with Barker and Worrall (ex witches) , Summers who goes well at our place and Lawson who is a bit hit and miss we may well struggle to beat them at home.

Edinburgh fans saying top heavy lol that's how they win the league! Cook Masters Wolbert Sedgman same as Lawson Summers Barker and Worrall. Get a decent rider at 4 similar to Riss and then Lunna and Garcia as good as Branford and Clegg. Touch jealous in the Monarchs camp maybe

please read what you just wrote there as it makes no sense. so you are saying for example that a rider riding at 6 can average 8 and should be on the heat leader list ahead of someone who rode at number 5 all season and managed 7? It blatantly obvious to all and sundry that Buck should have been a heat leader

yes you are talking rubbish. Watts average was gained as s second string and Bucks as a heat leader so well done for being wrong again calm down sweet cheeks. I'm anti the sport going down the pan. Personally my team isn't even in the elite league so not bothered who wins. Thing is I'm a speedway fan first then an Ipswich fan. Its a farce that a Speedway World Cup winner who when he rode here 2 years ago in a stronger league all of a sudden becomes a second string. Now Poole have done nothing wrong he was available to anyone, but it does make you think that Ford has some inside info that others dont. He moved very quickly to capture him. So Poole have a team that consists of A rider in the top 8 in the world (Holder) A rider who started last season at number 1 (Andersen) A rider who averaged over 7 from a second string ( Watt) A rider who WON the world cup, ridden as a heat leader but somehow (because its Poole) is a second string (Buck) Very promising young rider good signing (Kurtz) A rider who is quite happy being a reserve with no desire to better himself so is one of the best in the league (Newman) One of the best second reserves (Ellis) So thats the elite league title done again and people wonder why the sport is dying. Still according to Starman its all about winning the sport doesnt matter

they have quite correct not concerned. its called a forum and its called a discussion and funnily enough people can comment on anyones thread thats the way it works. Just ask The Scotsman who constantly comes on the Ipswich thread. no need for the smugness of how many times you have won stuff and giving others a chance as it just gives more fuel to the fire for people who dislike the Edinburgh fans for their attitudes.
