His record is inconsistent (6th then 10th and as high as 2nd) but he IS in the best 12 riders in the world. I would say there isnt much between Vaculik and Jonsson but i would say AJ will be top 10 again and Vaculik would be like a Batchelor type rider. Its just wether you go for new blood or the same old. Lets face it there is only 2-3 riders who could win it next year and you will always have riders who will make only 2 or 3 semis.

I dont agree with you SCB Think AJ is among the top 15 in the world quite clearly. Vaculik didnt even make the challenge. Last 6 years AJ has come 9th, 2nd, 9th,13th, 6th, 10th so no he isnt a title challenger but is consistently in the worlds top 10. Could you see another rider (Emil apart) finishing higher than AJ? For the record Holder has come 8th, 8th ,1st, 12th, 7th, 8th so apart from a flash in the pan season he isnt really that better at gp level than AJ. In answer to your question if Emil was in i would leave Lindback out. Messed up the challenge, messed up his one gp.

Chris Holder by all rights is a very strong number 1. only 3 riders in the world who finished above him , Iversen, Doyle and Zagar, are likely to ride over here so basically he will be the 4th best number one out of 8 teams. What more do you want?

Holder has to be a concern. Has not looked right all season since his injury and then the effect of Ward on him has been huge , understandably. He seems to lack the enthusiasm. Janowski will be kept unless he wants to concentrate on the gp. He should finish top 8 but may see it that next season he wants to make the next step up and challenge for a podium finish so may drop the uk. I can see Watt ending up as third heat leader. Newman will move up into the main team but i cant see North staying on that average. Gomolski may well be kept on. A lot will then depend on the draft but we all know how Poole manipulated that last year so it shouldnt be an issue. Personally i think there is a lot of rebuilding to do with major doubts over the top 2 and their free scoring reserve moving up into the team.

Title bit tarnished over the North affair and then the referee failing to exclude Newman which as I say is not Pooles fault. wow and still Poole fans cant get it. ok in plain simple. 1. Newman had a problem with his goggles. 2. It is up to the referee to spot this, NOT as Starman thinks the start marshal. 3. Newman did not have the correct equipment to race a speedway bike. 4. If he had to go back to the pits then quite rightly he had to be excluded under 2 minutes. 5. The issue is wether he should recieve a penalty after the event. So to sum up POOLE HAVE NOT CHEATED!! THE REF MISSED IT!!

Think the gp showed that KIldemand and Lindback do deserve their wildcard spots. Lindback although not scoring much kept getting in traffic from bad gates early on and looked to have speed on a track that wa to small for his liking. Hampel must be in line for one dont care how many of one nationality there is in the series the 4th slot is difficult
