although i think Nielsen was at fault in 1986 im with you regarding Ermolenko in the re run when quite clearly he packed up before the race was halted and shoulf have been excluded. 3 points in that race for Andy Smith would have put him in the title picture so no wonder he showered him in shale at the end of the race. Then with the title won Sam proceeded to miss the gate by a mile in his last heat and poodle round at the back showboating a la Penhall. The only difference was it didnt really matter

Quite blatant that Nielsen knocked off Knudsen and Ermolenko. Hans could get like that when he got desperate. I remember a gp (and its on the Loramski the legend dvd) where they were scrapping for a point and Nielsen just kept delibertaly blocking Loram and almost knocked him off twice. Mark passed him on the last lap and going over the line turned his head and gave him a long stare and lets be fair thats the only time ive seen Mark rattled by dirty riding on the track. Regards Muller. He was a good rider but lets be fair would never have been a world champion in 1983 or any other year if the final hadnt been held in Germany and the fact it was suspected to be an engine slightly over 500cc lol

Cant believe people are getting their knickers in a twist over this. Penhall and Carter - 2 hugley talented riders and brilliant to watch total entertainers. However as characters they hated each other , nothing wrong in that and for what its worth i believe Penhall knocked Carter off and if that World Final was anywhere but in the USA (with the tv crew of CHIPS not there either) Penhall would have been excluded. Carter was a murderer plain and simple and as Penhall said a coward. He disliked Carter when he was alive he is hardly going to endorse the guy after the crime he commited! And to be honest i dont like Penhall much but have no issue with the fact that he didnt like Carter

Barker is a 100% trier who on occassions lets his mouth do the talking wouldnt call him dirty. Fisher is the same as Barker as in tries hard but is just reckless (ask some of his team mates) Masters is simply a big girls blouse as proved by punching a rider who was lying on the track and his antics at the gp when he just made himself look stupid

My point is that you are replacing Cook/Sedgman (20 points a meeting i would guess) with Fisher/6 pointer , which in my view you will do well to get 15 points a meeting out of That must mean you are a lot weaker and all i was asking is are you worried about your chances

Yes he is. You had a top 3 of Masters Wolbert and Cook You have a top 3 of Masters Wolbert and Fisher. Irrelevent of what number they ride he has replaced Cook Masters will not score what Cook did Wolbert will not score what Masters did Fisher will not score what Wolbert did. I admit you had to lose points but you have lost the leagues best number 1 and the leagues best second string. Going to be very very tough to replace 20 points a meeting with Fisher and whoever else is signed

So Fisher replaces Cook So thats about 7 point a meeting they have lost. Not a good signing a guy who doesnt get on with his team mates and is on the decline Now you have to find a better 3 pointer than Branford And a rider with of an average of 6.12 that can do the job Sedgman did. Tough season ahead

Poole havent cheated as far as i can tell. Farcical that Buck wasnt on the heat leader list but Watt is so it evens out. What gets on peoples nerves is things like what Red Panda is doing with the Holder situation. He quite clearly has stated he would ride elsewhere but his first love is Poole. Nothing wrong in that apart from Red Panda trying to say he never said it and arguing with everyone. The situation with North was all covered up very conveniently and lo and behold he is back racing over here. Sort out your fans like Red Panda and Starman and Poole may have more respect on this forum

Ipswich and Glasgow have the strongest top 5 in the league followed by Newcastle not sure how you cant see that. But as you say leagues are not won on paper.
