  1. now that is written in stunning english you are one of the badmouthers who argue and abuse people. try reading your last line again. NOBODY has said they wouldnt want Ward to ride you fool. What we have said is right now Magic is the better option quite simple really if you read posts properly rather than just get angry all the time.
  2. I dont expect the views on here to mirror the terraces because on Pooles terraces there is probably a load of screaming girls who want Ward, along with the usual Poole fans who can never see any wrong and think the sun shines out of the arse of the promotion and Ward However on thsi forum it was very mixed over wether Ward should be back amongst people i feel are genuine Poole fans like foreverblue and chris4gillian. I dont take posts from people like starman as serious. Therefore i believe die hard Poole and speedway fans were not to disappointed they got Magic and not Ward Magic will score as well if not bette than Ward. But unlike Ward he is a professional and doesnt cause problems.
  3. Lets be fair here people - Sidney is a rather aggresive clueless individual who is basically good to laugh at. He also sticks up for Starman which is quite incredible in its own right. As far as Ward goes it seems 50/50 on the forum. Ask most fans and im sure they would rather have Holder and Magic than Holder and Ward However i can see it being Ward and Magic in June
  4. and this sort of post is the reason why you are so disliked on here. You were banging on and on that this didnt matter on your own thread. Lo and behold you win it and here you are crowing. Your quite pathetic really and a shame on your fans. Well done Poole on your win and once again look like a team to beat if Holder can start firing. And janowski is a revalation. Still beats me why people thought Ward would be a better option
  5. That Matt Ford bloke is such a credit to the sport. Tells everyone it will be full strength and those goes with a weaker team. Somerset fans who thought they would see Holder and Janowski now get Nick Morris. Typical from the Dorset mob
  6. Have i got this wrong but didnt Lykke ride for Glasgow last year and at reserve scored pretty well? I may have got this wrong
  7. Covatti will definatly be better on the bigger tracks, can see him struggling at Rye. Anything above 4 will be a bonus. Still maintain our season revolves around Gino and Cam stepping up their averages
  8. Hi stalker. you still going through threads looking for me bless you. Ive not been on here for a few days but i went to the Billy Sanders meeting last night and have commented on the thread and the Ipswich thread as well. All you rockets fans if your not sure who starman is go on the Poole threads or Somerset threads or the Jerran Hart one if you want a good giggle at the forums resident pillock. On to the meeting and i dont think Rye are that strong. Think our season depends on 2 riders , Gino and Cam. If they get 16 points a meeting betwen them we will take some stopping. Ipswich by 4
  9. i agree my first time seeing him and boy he can race. Can't gate for toffee but then again neither could Loram
  10. Was I the only one who thought the other Witches were not exactly busting a gut after Richies crash? Maybe Chris had a quiet word knowing he had lost the skipper didn't really want anyone else in the wars. Main plus for me tonight was Cam right in front of me but not sure had to be a chain or a seized engine as he stopped dead and flew through the air
  11. simmons only in his late career and for all round ability I would put Loram ahead of him
  12. ok I get it you are thick or just trolling. Read my post you fool! We know the Loram family my uncle sponsored him at 15 did you not read it!!!!!!!!! And Titman was way before Mark!
  13. passionate maybe......knowledgeable? hmmm lol your hilarious sort your knickers out. saw far more of Loram than most on here. My uncle sponsored him at 15 handing him money over the pit wall at Hackney through to 19. He came to my uncles and aunts funerals. I have a race jacket from hids first british semi final at sheffield and i my cousin has the one from his British Final in 1997. We followed him all round the country So dont get started on what i do and dont know.
  14. YES HE WAS!!!!!!!!!! Just because those 3 had glittering careers does not alter the fact Risager was as good if not better and more highly regarded at 16. Do you pretend to be thick or is it natural?
  15. Perfectly reasonable example is Risager. Im sure Sidney could start a fight in a room on his own! Justin Elkins, Ben Howe , 2 more examples of riders who didnt go forward. Mark Loram was riding British league at 16 and i think averaged 4.5 from reserve. All depends if Lambert wants it enough or in 2 - 3 years could be another David Howe or Simon Stead. Good riders short of top class you forget Mark Loram. the most talented rider ive ever seen and safe as well im not sure then that you have ever read about speedway properly. Risager was always dubbed the 'new Nielsen' and at 16 was probably ahead of Nielsen and Gundersen at that age, Very selective memory you have Yes he was try reading what people are telling you.
  16. Well being a Mark Loram fan and my family sponsering him at a young age im biased, but surely the Swedish Gp in 1999 has to go down as one of the greatest races ever seen. That is supreme skill on a bike, i remember once chatting to Greg Hancock and he always said nobody could ever work out how Mark used to get his wheels in line so quickly. Also the British Final run off in 1997 was a great race. Also on the Loramski the legend dvd there is a race with Mark, Havvy, Hamill and Hancock at Poole. If someone could upload a clip of that it was 4 racers hard but fair and the throttle control of all of them was fantastic. Other than Mark i would say Jan O'Pedersen overtaking 7 world class riders takes some beating
  17. Lets be honest the speedway star have been shocking in their journalism on the Darcy Ward issue. But I don't see an issue with him being on the front cover after all it is the big speedway news. Would be nice though if they took him to task inside and actually gauged the reaction of speedway fans rather than Darcy, Middlo, Pooles press office or Poole fans but I guess as usual the star will find it shocking he is banned
  18. im getting a bit bored and fed up with Darcy Ward now. I said it should have been a 12 month ban and it was 10 so thats fair enough. I like most people want to see Darcy Ward back on a bike. Im sure we all hoped he would accept he did wrong and take his punishment and keep his head down for the next 3 months. But no the jumped up twerp starts gobbing off again. He has learnt nothing and still feels he is above the law and the sport. He is now becoming a disgrace to the sport. Lets hope he appeals and fails and gets a bigger ban, because now that is what he deserves. Try to show the fans you have grown up and moved on but the prat instead continues to be an even bigger prat. Quite clearly he is a lost cause and no the sport doesnt need him
  19. you are one very strange individual with your comments
  20. so your not a fan of Middlo then so i apologise. I have no desire to do the 5 hour trip to Poole thanks. Went to the Mark Loram farewell last time i was there. Why do you not think i would tell people to their face what i think. I wouldnt be rude i would just ask him to explain his daft and ridiculous statements. Middlo's twitter rants show him in a poor light you must agree with that.
  21. I would tell them gladly to their faces. Ward kept backtracking time after time over the amount of time the FIM took. He did know then he didnt then he did. Middlo spouts rubbish time after time on social media and is quite happy calling fans retards from behind a keyboard. If you think Middlo comes out of this with any credit you are deluded
  22. Its not about blame but both sides of the story surely. The star was happy to print lots of stuff from the mouths of those affected like Ward and Midlo but nothing to say what a fool Darcy was in the first place. The star printed lie after lie that fell from Middlos and Darcys mouths so in effect they were blaming the FIM when quite clearly the FIM did nothing wrong It was one way traffic and the 'woe is me' crap peddled out by those involved Poor poor journalism
  23. Spot on, but the star didnt go down the route of blaming Ward in anyway and were more keen to print the guff and bluster that Middlo was coming up with week on week
  24. whats it got to do with intelligence? The star printed 1 side of the story and 1 side only. We had to read the ramblings of the fool Middlo and interpret them as gospel. No mention of the CORRECT procedures and length of time being normal just Darcy being hard done by. The star was wanting the speedway world to feel sorry for Poole for Darcy even Muddlo when quite frankly the majority weren't. A bit of proper journalism would have been to seek out what people thought by looking at Twitter and social media and perhaps report on that and even go as far as discussing some of the stuff Middlo wrote from the 'retard' comment to the downright daft things he says. But that wouldn't tow the party line. I've bought the star for years and will continue to do so as I love our sport but the way the Ward story was handled was appalling.
