BERWICK v EDINBURGH (July 5)
Mr Blobby replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Think most would if you seen the state of bend 3 đ -
That is the company the club was run under. Theyâve ignored the warnings for a while now. For all the good work Andrew has done heâs made a right royal mess of this. Not a slight error as what theyâre trying to make out. Hopefully they can sort it but be surprised if itâs any time soon.

First of all best of luck to Danyon in his recovery from what was a nasty fall. Might of got the meeting finished last night if the track wasnât an utter disgrace for the first 6 heats. Got a bit better after that. The huge holes into bend 3 were ridiculous and dangerous and seem to be getting worse each time weâre there. Bend 1 is a touch better at least. Poor first bend from Victor in heat 11 when on a 5-1 letting PK the world to go up the inside then a poor call from the ref when we were away on a 4-2 in heat 12. Anyway as some of the boys said thankfully thatâs us done there for another year. -

Strange that as I was told on Thursday that he wasnât riding Friday or Saturday. As they tried getting guests for both meetings but couldnât get one. So not a âlate changeâ as theyâre trying to claim. -
Not putting everyone in the same bracket as there are some out there who put in the work and the miles. Yourselves being one of them quietly going about your business improving year on year. But going to have to disagree with you as the attitude of some thinking theyâre big time Charlieâs and theyâre hard done by is definitely going around. I think I understand where youâre coming from regarding the progression, loads we could take from the way things are done down under and in Europe to help the progress quicker.

He was offered a championship spot not too long ago which I believe he accepted then decided to turn down, reason given didnât feel ready. Feel this new generation feel they should all be given things on a plate and things should happen instantly for them now. They donât want to put in the hard work or travel the country to get laps in to progress anymore. Feel this is a huge reason British riders donât cut it anymore. Think of all the guys that have came through the system over the last 10/20 years whoâve put in the hard work, travel and laps compare to now. Not saying this is the case with Springer but just the an overall opinion on where the new generation are at.

See when one team is miles ahead of the other out the gate and then faster on the track youâre not going to see much in the way of passing. Real basic speedway stuff. -

Track isnât as bad as folk are making out, itâs not fantastic yes, but also takes two to tango and so far only one team has turned up. -

24/7 track access and full time track staff helps massively towards that. -

Only way Is up I suppose after that. -
With the club being dissolved on the 17th they wouldnât have. Donât think the SCB/BSPA was made aware till more recently about the situation or found out till more recently, otherwise that match wouldnât have happened.
-
Any comment on running the Plymouth match with no insurance or licenses from the SCB/BSPA? Not taking away or making Andrew to be the bad guy but for all the good work he has done heâs cut some serious corners behind the scenes which has led to this. Hopefully can all be resolved.

Tbf Trigger isnât very good.

From my understanding itâs not under a different name.
