Berwick v Edinburgh Sat 26 April
Mr Blobby replied to Endeavour's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Demanding due to the size and roughness of it. Track was better than last week again Glasgow, I know they did a good bit of work on it to try and sort it. -

Done better than expected. Oskar again brilliant, very talented motorcyclist. Sussed the place out after his first ride. Shame Sedgy hand injury was aggravated, went over one of those holes in bend 3 which caused it. Slight concern as it doesn’t seem to have healed from last season so this may be an issue going forward as it seems he’s never actually going to be 100%. Thanks to the guest tonight, Pijper wasn’t disgraced, Harrison gave 100% just struggled out the starts, Edwards done his job and Jye was very good for his first meeting back was just running out of steam. Kye again awful. Not even stagnated anymore he’s actually going backwards. -

Think we’ll do well to score 35 based on last night performance by a couple of them who are actually riding today shame it’s not them missing. -
Probably right choice in going with sedgy off gate 2 in heat 15 even though he was poor all night he’d just won heat 13 off that gate. Mistake was not going with Oskar/Victor off gate 4. Alex is right in what he’s saying there is no consistency from us. Sedgy and kye being prime examples of that last night, but think Alex himself realises the error he made in heat 15 last night.

Also very strange that Klindt had one on at press day which was the only time he’s worn one as has had his own suit on each time since. Maybe doesn’t plan on staying long till Poland comes a calling. -
Yes but Oxford have got him wrapped round their little finger.

Max James officially steps down from the monarchs, few too many crashes dented the young lad’s confidence. Think it’s a sensible decision to step away for just now and regroup so to speak as definitely a talented rider in there, all the best Max and hopefully see you back one day. Now the search starts for a new 2.00 rider.

Good interview with Criag Cook in this weeks Speedway star talking about his on and off track issues over the last few years and how he’s trying to find stability for both. Good open and honest interview from him which he didn’t have share with everyone but fair play to him for doing so. -

They most certainly don’t. 😂 Would say it leaves us very much like like, could be worse off depending on what Etheridge turns up. -

Unsure, as the club asked the question as to why them as they have a fixture when several others don’t. They didn’t really care is probably the best way of summing up their response. -

Not much the club can do they have tried to get the Swedish federation to change their picks as they have a large pool to pick from of riders who don’t have a fixture that weekend and have decided to pick the two riders who do for the the same side. They weren’t very accommodating or nice when asked to reconsider their pick either put it that way. Paco being chosen for Italy bit of a given.
