Championship Pairs, Oxford.. Friday, 12th. August
Mr Blobby replied to Ovalman's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
He did claim at Glasgow last Sunday that he was hoping to ride in the pairs depending on how much movement he had in it. Personally I’d rather be left it till the leagues are back in action. -
Whole thing is a load of nonsense. Bring back the league cup imo.

You’re lucky yous haven’t been forced to run NL riders for him as that’s what you deserve IMO as every man and their dog know he’s not injured and this was the plan all along. -

3 points is all that matters tomorrow. Need the home form to continue. Even even Lawson chips in with 8/9 should still see us over the line. -
Glasgow v Edinburgh Jubilee Trophy 31st July @3pm
Mr Blobby replied to Gazc's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Least the weather was nice yesterday. Thought we were pretty poor, looked like we were struggling for speed all day. Would’ve been interesting if Sam was fit as he would’ve probably been good for 5 points more than what Douglas got. Anyway hopefully that’s the last of the summer cup or jubilee cup for us and the league cup comes back next year. -

So when Alex phoned Matt Ford for permission who said it was fine then called Richard 5 minutes later who then agreed to guest just never happened after the match on Friday then. -

Don’t get me wrong every club has their share of idiots, just seemed to be a fair few more from the west than normal. Majority seem to be since the new regime has taken over. So obviously aren’t very clued up. -

Was actually mainly the Glasgow fans that were toxic last night. There seems to be this new breed of tigers fans that have came along since the new regime that took over who aren’t very pleasant. Paco lying on the floor after getting taken out and chanting “you fell over, you fell over” followed by booing when he got up and a few Abusive shouts chucked in there as well. Not to say we don’t have our own fair share of numpties either mind you. However there seems to be this new era of tigers fans who aren’t very pleasant. -

I don’t R/R at 2 could work out okay if the real Craig cook turns up. As he’ll have strong parter in each of his rides and he’ll take the R/R in heat 8. Brennan and Basso weren’t Fantastic in their last visits either. could go either way still as we both have riders who we don’t know what version we are getting from meeting to meeting. -

Going by the 4 points today seems he’s still not very fit. anyway very impressive performance on the road. A point a never thought we’d get close to but we’ll done to the boys for sticking in and pulling it off.
