  1. See when one team is miles ahead of the other out the gate and then faster on the track you’re not going to see much in the way of passing. Real basic speedway stuff.
  2. Track isn’t as bad as folk are making out, it’s not fantastic yes, but also takes two to tango and so far only one team has turned up.
  3. Kerr special there, she must’ve started her knitting after hitting the green light.
  4. Track actually looks fine. Not sure what you’re looking at.
  5. 24/7 track access and full time track staff helps massively towards that.
  6. With the club being dissolved on the 17th they wouldn’t have. Don’t think the SCB/BSPA was made aware till more recently about the situation or found out till more recently, otherwise that match wouldn’t have happened.
  7. Any comment on running the Plymouth match with no insurance or licenses from the SCB/BSPA? Not taking away or making Andrew to be the bad guy but for all the good work he has done he’s cut some serious corners behind the scenes which has led to this. Hopefully can all be resolved.
  8. Tbf Trigger isn’t very good.
  9. From my understanding it’s not under a different name.
  10. July 2023 was the last time they filed accounts. Link here. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/04261535/filing-history
  11. HMRC have been on to them for a while now, and warned this will happen if they don’t file accounts. Here we now are where HMRC have now followed that through. Going to take a lot longer than 7 days to fix, shouldn’t of rode the Plymouth match as had no insurance or licences to run one.
  12. From what I’ve been told Seems Mr Bain hasn’t produced any accounts for the last 2 years they’ve had several warnings from HMRC and been chased about it and have ignored the lot, hence the HMRC dissolving northside speedway on the 17th. This effecting the visas of Hook and Bowes. They also ran the match last week against Plymouth with no licences or insurance as was ran after the 17th. Feel this is going to take a lot longer than a week to resolve, as not going to get licences, insurance and visas all sorted in that space of time. Hopefully they can get back on their feet soon as there is a lot of individuals who have worked hard to get the place to where it is now.
  13. Covering it with dirt isn’t going to anything, only hiding it doing that, still going to hit it and have a similar outcome as just there.
  14. Rather wet, in the west tropical. Joking before the usuals have a fit. Wet in both locations.
  15. Cheer up folks bit of light hearted fun. Enjoy the duck weather.
  16. Honestly just shut the doors, they’d be better off than embarrassing themselves till the end of the year. Team wouldn’t even win the championship.
  17. Wish they’d find someone to replace her for the interviews, tv on mute when she opens her mouth.
  18. The signing on fees and the covering of other costs that clubs don’t pay or contribute partly towards are also a big plus. If everyone believes riders choose to travel half the length of UK cause of the track and cause they get paid every Tuesday then you’ll believe anything. It’s all the other bits I’ve listed above that make it worth it. If you know riders who have rode under the new regime well enough and promotors of other clubs who have lost out on riders due to this, who are happy to discuss it feel free to ask them.
