  1. Also worth saying Poole were the best side all season and deserved the title without doubt. always build a good team and it's always good to see table toppers win the play offs.
  2. The Cook/Boughen incident was 100 percent on Boughen, he shut off completely before the first corner and Cook had nowhere to go. Foord was to blame for both incidents with Kileen and Scott and was out of control both times. the usual Shovlar nonsense doesn't fool anyone, long gone are the days where he would have a decent wind up and has become an absolute tool.
  3. From what I seen lastnight and listening to his interview, hes going to seriously hurt someone soon if he doesnt tone it down.
  4. If Boughen achieves half of what KK did then he will of been doing well.
  5. Agreed. it is only a few weeks ago he scored a max somewhere , to see him shutting off going into the first turn two heats clearly shows he didnt want to mix it. Even heat 12 you see him easing on the throttle coming out the second bend.
  6. Wasn't it the other way around and Trick wiped Pedersen out when he was leading the final?
  7. Thomsen has been decent for Poole this year. The score is all that has kept this meeting entertaining. The racing has been terrible.
  8. There is no doubt Pedersen was dirty but he knew exactly where he was putting his bike and was levels and levels above Foord ability wise. Think Foord is more Jason Garrity than Nicki Pedersen.
  9. He turned left going into turn 1. How on earth you can try and defend Foord for that is absolutely f*****g mental. He is going to seriously injure someone if he doesn't wind his neck in and get proper guidance, the fact he thinks he done nothing wrong is worrying. Shows how much confidence his team mates have in him if none of them are willing to lend him a bike for his last race.
  10. What did Scott do wrong there Dean Machine? Left Foord nowhere to go?
  11. Its being realistic. Every season we have topics on here wondering why crowds are so poor and no newcomers take up following the sport and then you have a grand final on TV and there has been more stoppages than races without incident.
  12. What an awful spectacle so far. It is easy to see why the sport rarely attracts new fans, if this was your first time watching you'd of switched off by now.
  13. In all fairness, heat 1 was a racing incident and heat 3 was 100 percent on Boughen who should of been excluded.
  14. Yeah the Oxford fans certainly want more excitement from Foord. Bet they can't wait for heat 4. Also, Greg Blair is hardly someone to reference is he.
  15. There is a difference between entertaining riders who cross the line sometimes but are in control and riders who are entertaining for all the wrong reasons, mainly being completely out of control.
  16. I was about to say Boughen completely shut off then before the first corner and the replay confirmed it. Cook had nowhere to go. I'd exclude Boughen for that.
  17. That is a shocking decision. Decided to tune in and watch this and its the first time I have seen Foord ride and he is exactly how people have described him - out of control. God knows what the ref was watching then.
  18. Hoping Oxford can do it, be great to see Poole choke it two years in a row.
  19. If your operating rider replacement for a missing heatleader the rest of the team has to step up and when push came to shove both King and Ellis went missing. Ellis was signed on what people described as a bargain average yet according to the BSPA site he put only 0.04 on his average last season (as a second string). Add that to his injury record and its not exactly good is it? the first thing you should look at when building your team is riders who have scope for plenty of improvement and dependable for the season. Which for me would rule Ellis out. But thats just an opinion . Id still take King over Ellis though.
  20. They obviously werent expected to step up and be number ones but to deliver solid heat leader points each meeting and they didnt. Ellis has been around long enough now and should be hitting 7 plus year in year out and he isn't ... facts are he spends way too much time injured which is no use to any side chasing a title .
  21. Don't see the fascination with Ellis. Another who goes missing when needed most. Him and King really needed to step up this year when the top two were injured but didn't. Ellis has been around a while now , has to be well over 10 years and is still not a heatleader and is injury prone. Would get rid.
