At next meeting with Glasgow -- there's bound to be at least one! -- the promotion should keep a watching brief on this cabal, identify those concerned and warn them against causing further trouble. A public statement regarding the incident (and, if security had to be called, it happened) might also be sensible.

Because in many cases, emails sent to the BSPL should have really been addressed to the SCB. Often these concern rules, rather than promotion. So they are forwarded there, and replied to by the SCB.

No, the promoters didn't! Had to pay their four top-earning riders for three away legs on the proceeds of one home meeting. The meetings were popular in the 'seventies, when costs were much, much lower. To try and run such meetings now would be a financial disaster. Be cheaper to hire Bartosz for a meeting.
