Plymouth Gladiators 2023

That's really encouraging news, provided they can recruit the right person....... Local businesses should be made aware of speedway's potential of raising brand awareness, as well as the fidelity of fans who tend to "help the people who help speedway". It would be a tragedy if the south-west, where speedway has been a welcome attraction in Cornwall, at Exeter, Bristol and Somerset, were to lose the only track for well over a hundred miles in any direction...... -
Can someone guest for two different clubs during the playoffs?

Third time of asking for this fixture tomorrow. Luke Killeen comes in for the injured Connor Coles, otherwise FTS Bandits track regular line-up. -
It isnt new. Jacob Hook had to miss Edinburgh Academy match after he moved to Berwick.
-
Isn't the criteria that each club is supposed to nominate two out of the top three qualified riders, per average? Berwick's top three are Rory, Leon and Jye (Hans A hasn't had enough meetings for the club). They have nominated Jye and Leon.

Getting Covid is hardly dubious.......

Bullets travel to Oxford on Wednesday, with r/r at #1 for Connor Coles, and Ben Trigger guesting for Greg Blair at #3. Mason Watson will take over as captain.

And as such, might be deemed more-important by the host club.... However, didn't it used to be the case that, at a double-header the team which had the furthest travel back home was taken first? Never a rule, just an agreed procedure... -
Instead of a dead woman?

Nope, not me....

Lee Complin back again as a guest in second match! How many times has he raced at Berwick this season now? Back next week, too............

Glasgow Vs Plymouth 10/8 Live on BSN

Yip, Jacob is fighting fit, free to guest for anyone - he still has that 4.00 average, but was matching it in every meeting for Berwick until his Polish crash -
Yes, but he's not unbeatable, both Leon and Rory beat him on Saturday. Bandits win 49-41, collect bonus point.

Certainly a disappointment for those of us looking towards a brighter future for Team GB that Tom Brennan and Leon Flint aren't there. Some of the averages used to place others (Troy being an obvious example) are a bit hooky, to say the least..........

Tell that to the clubs' bank managers ..

Ah, the benefits of a ten-fingered mechanic! -
Back to a seven-man team for the FTS Bandits, with the Pirates seeking a first-ever victory on a Berwick circuit, despite all their titles. The reigning champions should have their standard line-up, while Bandits introduce their two new signings. Hans Andersen, coming into the position left open by Thomas Jorgensen's season-ending crash, has a glittering CV to speak for itself -- multiple World Cup winner ,multiple GP winner, etc, etc -- and Steve Boxall could hardly not have been promoted from the Bullets (replacing the injured Jacob Hook) after a startling last-minute audition at Armadale last week. The visitors lost by just two points on their first-ever Shielfield visit in 2021, and grabbed a very fortunate draw last season (after Chris Harris had to pull out the final race with a burnt-out clutch while leading) so might be anticipating a "third time lucky" result. However, the team spirit shown by Berwick's injury-ravaged squad against Redcar last Saturday means nothing's likely to be settled until the last race...... Expected lineups: FTS BANDITS: 1 Rory Schlein, 2 Jonas Knudsen, 3 Jye Etheridge, 4 Leon Flint (capt), 5 Hans Andersen, 6 Steve Boxall, 7 Connor Coles WESSEX MARINE PIRATES: 1 Richard Lawson, 2 Kyle Newman, 3 Ben Cook, 4 Zach Cook, 5 Steve Worrall (capt), 6 Anders Rowe, 7 Adam Roynon As ever, discounted early-bird e-tickets are already on sale from www.berwickspeedway.com/tickets Kids go free, of course. BanditsTV official livestream is available at https://tv.berwickspeedway.com/ Plus (how could we forget) there is a large, free, car-park right beside the stadium!

The promotion have been quick off the mark, replacing TJ with a legend.....
