I have no idea. But if allowing a young Commonwealth rider to ride in an NDL team affiliated to his parent CL club will mean an extra team in the NDL -- and therefore places for half a dozen aspiring British riders who wouldn't otherwise get a chance -- then bring it on!

On subject, a blanket advertising campaign for a specific meeting actually does work if the blanket's heavy enough and placed properly -- but the product on that night has to be really slick, really entertaining to ensure a good proportion of the folk attracted to that specific meeting want to come back.......

Makes sense, he lives there, works full-time at their stadium and was a valued heat-leader for the Chargers last season. Having said that, he's already proved popular as a Bandit, not least by refusing to give up when behind, and would certainly be welcome as a Bullet.

Luke and brother Dec were both held up from racing in the first half of last season while the UK passport office weren't issuing any passports because all their staff were processing Ukrainian refugees -- it was much the same reason that delayed issue of a work permit/visa to Berwick's Jonas Knudsen. Many people on here may remember Frank Killeen, who was a rambunctious second-halver at Belle Vue and Wolverhampton in the 1980s -- Frank emigrated to Perth during the 1990s and his two sons were born there. Both hold UK nationality, and now have British passports.

Now l agree a 16-year-old getting a CL berth isnt always going to mean he'll be winning a GP in five seasons or so (and in Dan's case he had a really bad injury and a Covid year to contend with, too!) but my point was, no-one should be written off as not being up to standard until after he's been given his chance......

Something l read -- more or less word-for-word -- when Dan Bewley, Tom Brennan and Leon Flint were introduced to CL racing as very raw, 2-point, 16-year-olds.... All theee raced at the Cardiff GP this year, and one of them even won it!
