  1. While the Isle of Wight's announcements are always interesting, surely this thread should be confined to "The Way Ahead" or "General Discussions" as -- currently -- the island events have absolutely nowt to do with the National League? Not that I wouldn't welcome the Islanders back into "real speedway" (and the National League) in a heartbeat.........
  2. Actually, Josh MacDonald has a true rolling average of exactly 4.00. His last twenty meetings gave him 85 rides from which he scored 85 points.
  3. Not to forget Leon Flint on 6.04 with Berwick.....
  4. Since you ask...... Yes, Leon Flint has the better CMA, he is on 3.63, Drew Kemp is only 3.36
  5. I'm sure they would! But will our awful goverment, post-Brexit, be extending a welcome to such aspirants? Indeed, will Birmingham have a sponsors licence in place to welcome new non-British employees?
  6. The little footnote to the announcement, telling us Ben is now a Berwick asset, is a real boost for the club, too..,
  7. Kieran Douglas confirmed as fourth Bullet
  8. Ready for what? Ready to take on Dan Gilkes, Jack Smith, Ryàn Kinsley or the Thompsons? Of course not, he's just turned fifteen and has limited 500cc experience. Ready to continue the progress he's made from sessions at Duns, the GB Youth events and for Berwick's Academy side in NJL mini-matches? Absolutely! This coming season, he'll only have to beat the opposing #7's -- home and away -- to justify his team place and repay the faith the GHT Bullets are investing in Ace. By joining local fellow-graduates Mason Watson and Keiran Douglas (and before them, Leon Flint) his recruitment to the NDL side -- emphasis on the 'D' -- displays the Berwick club's continuing determination to 'grow their own'.
  9. Cant agree. Nicola Sturgeon has worked tirelessly for the past two years, keeping the nation's head above water in the face of vindictive and cynical actions by the lying and cheating Westminster posh,-boys. IMO.
  10. Main reseve for Wolves? I think not. Leon Flint is 3.63, Drew Kemp 3.36.
  11. Cameron Heeps has patriality, even raced in the-then National League back awhile. Anyway, being a new promotion wouldn't stop Newcastle going through the ridiculously-expensive and time-consuming process of becoming sponsors, it's a Government thing, not BSPL.
  12. Actually 6.03. Adding three points would put him above the current CMA of Craig Cook, Bomber or Charles Wright -- and Scott Nicholls is 9.07. Tom Brennan is a fine prospect, but pushing his average up by three is a step too far in 2022. IMO.
  13. Nope, it'd be 7.10. Over last 20 matches, excluding any 2021 meetings against Eastbourne.
  14. Whoever is wanting money for the use of the name "Comets" is really trying it on...... But I'm assured there will be no charge whatsoever for the name "Comics" (and then we can all call them Comets, anyway)
  15. That's an innovative and positive step. Hopefully one that will allow a degree of financial stability for the Brummies.
  16. After discount, Danyon Hume is 4.89, Connor Bailey is 4.17
  17. Hàrdly. For instance, while Heeps is on 5.05, Jye Etheridge will be a stàrting reserve at Berwick on 5.35.
  18. Look on the bright side. It might go above 4.00!
  19. You wont get Congreve's CMA any lower than 4.00, l'm sorry to tell you.
