Exactly right. Edinburgh do everything themselves at virtually no cost after investing in the equipment, so if they get 250 viewers at £12 (or whatever) a go, that's £3k into the coffers per meeting. Plus, they have the (in my view sensible) local blackout to encourage their core support to still come to meetings. If Glasgow, Berwick or whoever use an outside contracter to stream for them, the revenue drops right off......

We need to remember that around half their rolling averages were created in 2019... -
He would revert to the BSPL when Eastbourne folded, as would any other club assets -- most were loanees, however.

Nobody mentioning that Poles -- at least PZM licenced Poles -- aren't allowed in the Championship? -

Mind you, this move brings Plymouth right in line with the best teams in the league. Who knows that they might spring a surprise in these last away matches? -
Yeah, sure.... How did that work at Newcastle, when an outgoing, failed promotion stitched Rob Grant up?

Unless the new Plymouth line-up -- and it's suddenly pretty tasty -- starts winning away, and creeps into those play-offs? A long shot, I know -- but when you look at their new team..... -

Tom Brennan. As a guest. -
Just not true. A tale that has grown wings. Any rider, currently in any 1-7 (including Eastbourne's, until anything changes permanently) can guest for anyone.
-
If Eastbourne close -- and I hope and pray they will not -- their rider-assets devolve to the SCB/BSPL. I suspect that's only Tom Brennan from the current line-up. The others -- loanees --will go back under the wing of whosoever "owns" their registration -- mostly Premiership clubs? But even returned loanees would still be under SCB/BSPL control in such circumstances, and while MC permission might well be granted to allow clubs with long-term gaps (Glasgow for Ostergaard, Redcar for Stewart) to sign such riders "in the best interests of the sport" it might not be as easy for other clubs to just take on a former Eagle to bolster their side. That kind of move is -- surely -- less likely to gain MC approval without some further discussion. However, as I said above, let's hope for the miracle.

Only if they've been indoctrinated that winning is everything. Plenty of regular attendees (note l don't say fans) go to a speedway be entertained, to enjoy a night out in convivial company and to watch a good contest, good racing and a thrill and spill. Your team wins, yes that's nice too, but it shouldn't be everything.

Definately agree on Kelpies. Much-more impressive than the Wheel (and virtually next door)

Um, l don't think so, Steve. Matty (r/r) has been moved to #2 in line-up. -
It will.

Following the postponement of the Eastbourne matches, the Berwick club have worked hard behind the scenes to still present an evening of speedway -- with a bit of a twist on Saturday 28th. An FTS Bandits select will go head to head with a Bullets squad for a true Berwick Speedway showdown! Two 6-man teams will be managed by Gary Flint and Scott Courtney and 15 heats will take place under a new race format which will see an emphasis on managerial tactics with four of the races requiring a tactical rider nomination -- although each rider can only do one of those rides each. In very tricky times for the sport throughout the UK, your promotion are excited to take this opportunity to still provide the riders with a payday and the chance to enjoy riding their bikes while entertaining the fans and we are looking forward to next Saturday! Team line-ups will be announced during the week but you can look forward to seeing your FTS Bandits and Bullets stars take to the track under a slightly different set of rules. Tapes will be rising at 7pm.

Monarchs lost the victory due to the ridiculously-quick red-lighting in Heat 7. But Kent were well worth their draw. -
