  1. Oops! How do we go about removing accidental duplications? Please disregard this one!
  2. What I'm saying is that, because he did not contest PL racing in 2015, Seb returned to an average assesed (by whatever formula) as 7.37 The same is true for Charlie Gjedde (ha!) at Plymouth and indeed Henning Bager. This has kept Seb on that average in May because he had not raced 4 home, 4 away official matches before the cut-off date of April 20th. Thus, while everyone else's average changed slightly from May 1st, (and will change again on June 1st) Seb's is pegged at 7.37 until seven days after his 4th away match on May 28th, weather permitting. By which time he will have achieved a 'proper' average again -- which may (or may not) advance him to No 1.
  3. Berwick did have a No 1 in place at the start. His name is Sebastian Alden, but he has been required to start on an assessed average, which has not yet changed, unlike the other riders in the squad. To suggest Thomas Jorgensen should be released is idiocy.
  4. Your post on the Berwick 2016 thread six minutes ago, numbnuts!
  5. Not if he's on a flight home to USA for a quick family-time visit!
  6. Weather forecast for tomorrow looking bright enough. temperature could even be a few degrees better than the past few matches. Looking forward to seeing PLRC champ Ostergaard in black and gold, and to the first NJL contest of the season.
  7. OK, I should say this information came directly from Redcar's team manager for tomorrow.
  8. Er, despite the opening post by the (usually) ultra-knowledgeable Mr B, Redcar will have a full squad on parade. Jonas B Andersen is riding.
  9. Scunny riding order confirmed as: 1 Josh Auty © 8.00 2 Carl Wilkinson 5.33 3 Alex Davies 6.26 4 Ryan Douglas 6.68 5 Zdenek Holub 7.00 6 Ashley Morris ® 4.53 7 Josh Bailey ® 3.00 NJL squads will be: Border Raiders 1 Kevin Whelan 2 Kieran Douglas 3 Corban Pavitt 4 Luke Harrison Dukes 1 Chris Hay 2 Joe Lawlor 3 Jordan Palin 4 Sam McGurk Referee (if that's the word) will be Barbara Horley
  10. Riders at PL clubs, changing only each month, will have a better, truer rolling average now than EL participants.
  11. 1) A week today. Cut off was 20th. 2) No 3) Depends on his having raced in a professional league or not. 5.00 if he hasn't.
  12. Glasgow will be without Worrall. Lawson and Summers ineligible to take r/r for him.
  13. Where's all this expectation of rain coming from? BBC and the usually-ultra-reliable XC Weather both say no significant precipitation after 6am....... Won't be too warm, tho....
  14. Of course I should have. Many thanks for highlighting the slip. Information now on the correct thread.
  15. Jorgensen sidelined for Saturday, replaced by Stuart Robson. Mellgren returns, situation with Wethers not yet known. Tigers at full strength. (from this afternoon's e-newsletter)

  17. I'll have to correct you, I'm afraid. Engines running in pits from 6.30 -- bikes on track from 7pm. No engines after 9.30pm. There are several amendments, mostly slight relaxations concerning "special" events -- such as when Sky Sports visit -- but current restrictions are as above.
  18. To explain: Strict planning conditions mean no bikes on track until 7pm. Traditionally, Berwick hold parade at 6.50, riders appear for Heat 1 at 7pm.
