All this and that's it's important to remember one thing above all. Yes we have club legends and they will be remembered for all eternity. However as I said before the promoters are custodians passing through and the interests of the club it's history and it's brand MUST come before everything above all.

Purely hypothetical question Dean, take somewhere like Monmore. Even if they allowed Speedway back and I guess you could say the same for somewhere like Brough Park, would you need a pile of cash to get them Speedway ready again? -

If we (Ipswich) dont run. Can you see them bonkers enough to attempt to run with 4? -
Time for a new chairperson?

Unfortunately with the current premiership malaise there are not enough boys to play with the toys anymore. -

I suspect the groundhog will just get bigger in size? -
That can that is kicked down the road, presumably the use by date is 2003
-
Or we could call it the borefest four.
-
From memory we were utter pony that year as well.

I believe the start of doubling up in 2003 was the start of the demise. The ill fated British League Cup being the vehicle for this.

We must be running out of coffee for people to wake up and smell! It's 5 teams at most. There isn't going to be a sixth team unless someone with more money than sense has lost their marbles. -
Let's all get one thing clear. At best it will be 5 teams unless someone is prepared to underwrite another loss making venture.

Unfortunately the Facebook page called 'Memories of Ipswich Speedway' could have real meaning soon.

About about a pool of tracks instead of riders?
-
If We do run next year surely that would depend on who's financing it?

If he could fly it would be a miracle of nature. And if he could fly I'd guarantee he wouldn't be a speedway rider.

I quote supporters last because the powers that be appear to do the same. -

I'll take a team first at whatever level. Unfortunately the virtual silence is incredibly damaging for sponsors, riders and everyone else involved. N.B supporters as well lol -

How about some sensible heads. It might help British Speedway survive.

I think we need to forget all this nonsense about extra teams because it ain't going to happen. Unfortunately the Premiership is like the cockroach that has been stood on but is desperately scuttling around the floor looking for survival. Logical thinking required here, why would any right minded businessman or persons invest in a dying sport? It ain't happening so people need to deal with it. One league is the only way forward and I believe eventually it will be forced upon the powers that be. -
Any news on the Wolves front Dean?
