I would agree those figures in the PL say 50 points at home paying an average of £120 per point (£150 top end; £80/£100 reserves). Interesting to know what doubling up/down riders settle for? Say a PL reserve who is also a CL Heat leader?

Shame it doesn't appear to be rearrangeable for this coming Monday 12th?! Neither team has a fixture and there are no Championship meetings for those doubling-down!

Great result for Swindon. I was following updates after getting drowned out in the Poole car park. Some very interesting fixtures coming up in the next few weeks. I hope Poole and Swindon get their play-off places as it'll be good for the southern tracks.

As usual with the weather forecasts there is great variation as to when the heavy persistent rain will hit. The earliest seems to be from 3pm onwards through the evening - the latest seems from 9pm through the night. I guess if its the former then we'll know fairly soon!! Incidentally if it is rained off this evening, then next Monday 12th seems ok for both clubs?!

Surely any rider coming back from an injury will test it out in their first meeting back. Even if Adam top scores for Birmingham and goes to sleep happy - it wouldn't be unheard of for him or any rider to wake up in pain and not feel ok to ride again that evening. Jeez they are human not robots.

Probably because the weaker of the 2 heat 14 riders will have to take a third ride and replacing the stronger rider may not be worth it being at least 6 points behind with only heat 15 to follow - just a thought although the more I think of it there must be another reason.

With Brady (10+2) and Jack (9+1) going well in Sweden last night - although not so much Nicolai?! Lets see how Nico and Bomber both get on at Somerset this evening?!

I have every faith in SCB Co-ordinator Neil Vatcher in sorting all the evidence submitted including what he witnessed with his own eyes and reaching the correct conclusion. I just hope it doesn't take too long.

So on Thursday at Poole (weather permitting) the parade will consist of 12 stationary bikes being lined up on the track - Ippo infront of the startline and Poole behind the startline. Riders will stand behind their bikes on the centre green with their mechanics/helpers and be introduced and announced individually starting with the Ippo Number 7. There will be a track marshall - sometimes the deputy Clerk of the Course - displaying a red flag on the track between the start and the first bend to stop riders riding away too early. Yes thats on the track not on the centre green, just like it happens at many other tracks who have the parade in similar style.

In the Dugard video clip anyone spot the track photographer coming into shot ON THE TRACK? No doubt if the flag marshall hadn't been there then Cook would just have continued on to further disrupt the presentations.

It could only be r/r for Heeps - he's a second string like Richie - and they are not running r/r for anyone else! Poole only had a guest for Richie when it was r/r for Brady.

Could it be the battle of the 6-man teams?! Poole shouldn't be letting Ippo get close to the draw even if Bomber does what Bomber can do! And I can't believe Lawson will be as bad as his last visit!

Not quite sure why this is on the Poole v Ipswich meeting thread, but as I put on the other thread, the flag marshall was acting as instructed as the ref had put the red lights on when Cook set off before the rider parade and presentations had been completed - in fact were less than half way through. Cook nor any other rider should have been riding the track at that point - end of!!

BS SteveBrum. The marshall was there because the ref had put the red lights on as soon as Cook and 2 others broke away from the riders and mascot presentation parade which is held on the back straight at Arlington. This was on turn 2 with Cook having already ridden bends 3, 4 and 1 as well as the main straight with the red lights on!! Flag marshall was only doing what is instructed. In any case with the SCB Co-Ordinator there to witness it all as well as the ref's report, then the SCB hearing will doubtless clarify everything - and take everything into account including the Glasgow owner's public apology on the microphone for his riders' actions.

All very well in theory. So what would happen if a rider bends his bike in a crash one week and blows an engine (or two) a week or so later? Get it covered by sponsors? When they are earning probably less than half that they do now? Yeah right. (and that assumes they all get paid!!!)
