Not many people pass and repass Fast Freddie at Monmore, fair play to Morra. If only the Flying Frog had been on his form of late.

No this is recently...Thursday night was speedway night. Not enough teams in league to justify that now, and we dont need to go down the ice hockey route where they face some teams 3 times at home! One big league of 18 teams for me.

The season gets even shorter, April to early September, sometimes a month with no home meeting (at The Abbey).

Morra must be the most improved rider this year, how the hell Swindon got a point from this after being battered, superb scrapping from Doyley and Rosco's never say die motivational skills. Those fantastic Robins fans have a team they can be proud of. Just need to get some home wins under their belt.

Swindon have scored more points away from The Abbey. Their home form is about as bad as Zummerzet!

Would like to see gates published like most in the poll, so I don't have to count the crowd at Blunsdon every week! The crowds dont normally include some fans and sponsors who get in free. Non-league football crowds are published so why not speedway, would like to see cricket, rugby, and ice hockey crowds etc., as well. The cat is called Alan not Ivan.

Bellego and Doyley even Morra of the Turbo Trio could smoke Freddie but the rest may struggle. Never write Swindon off but I will be shocked if they win this...50-40, Wolves too strong.

I'm hoping if there is a new stadium it will be a better race track to keep the fans attending. Too many heats that are decided after the second bend. Also you are closer to the action, looking down onto the track at OTA from the big back straight grass bank rather than through fences across a dog track.

Belle Vue have already won at Swindon, but the Robins are in a rich vein of form, and were the first team to win at the new stadium last year, even without Doyley. Will be close I hope.

Swindon's racing is boring compared to Somerset, but its 2 miles away as opposed to nearly 80. If I lived somewhere such as Bristol/Bath would go to OTA.

Probably 99% of fans don't even bother posting on here, why worry about a few faceless peeps.I don't take it seriously ave a laugh! Great stuff, good clean fun, even though some of the riders don't ride there now.How many are singing? Are you English or Scotties, and why do Football team play in Scottish leagues?Try the Morra and Bridger songs! Or no one knows us we dont care!

Bunch of uncouth midlanders how dare they, was it Wolves or Coventry? I had to listen to northerners at Belle Vue singing something about Shooting a Robin...totally disrespectful and ghastly people, took me days to get over it.Us simple folk toil hard in the fields on our tractors.We enjoy going to Blunsdon to watch motor bikes race, and having a few ciders, dont need people poking fun at us.

Should there be more chanting and general jumping and leaping around and tomfoolery at speedway, like football and speedway in the 70s/80s, a bit more passion, unlike the morgue-like atmosphere at most tracks. What chants/songs does your club have?

The Robins home form not convincing so far, were getting hammered by Belle Vue with 3 heats to go then lost by 2, about level with Rye House then won it in last 3 heats, down against Poole with 3 to go but fought back to level 45 each. You know with Doyley, Morra, and Bellego in last 3 they are very strong. Looking for the other 4 to whack in some decent scores. Need a strong reserve.
