THANKS for info ,just thought ARC Racing took over the leece of the stadium in 2019,and what with the commonwealth games coming to the city next summer,the crazy things they are pushing through at break neck speed to allow it to take place,you would have thought the new leaseholder would want to max the stadium out.Also this stupid one night a week rule if its a not a bank holiday,you have to admit is kinda stupid and outdated considering the mess the stadium finds itself in outside the stadium.You would have thought like at Monmore people would bend over backwards to help the speedway out.

Brian in know way am i having a go at you but suerly the owners of the stadium can apply for an evening race night at the stadium if its not being used!! Ive only just recovered from the evening getting in and out of the stadium was a nightmare what with the traffic and building projects going on for big events in the area that seem to be being pushed through regardless of any common sense regarding road useage.It just seems amazing to me that you have a stadium that cant operate without stupid restrictions 7 days a week in a large city thats alive and kicking .

Racing will start 8.35pm no parade,straight to heat 1 Reason for the delay,Track staff could not enter the track until after last greyhound race at 2pm!!/Also selling tickets on the night was a complete shambles for fans going to the unsold zones in the stadium,SHOULD HAVE been advanced tickets only,which is the only way i can see them police the issue. Should just about beat the 10pm curfew

I AGREE with mostly everything you said,I cant get my head round the clubhouse.SUrely if are buying it,you make the most of it,if only to to sell sandwiches to the workers that are building the new units for an example. ANYTHING that brings in an income has to be looked at,thats why im surprised evan with the sale of the land,it doesnt effect the clubhouse or track if i understand correct.So the Hancocks have got their money from the land and clubhouse .whats stopping them to run?!! JUST out of interest does anyone know the events coming up at the clubhouse?

Whether they are in different business or not,a clubhouse is there to be used ,and would have thought some kind of agreement could have been made to use the clubhouse on race nights.As words used by Debbie Hancock when the offer came along TO SELL THE CLUB HOUSE,"IT A NO BRAINER NOT TO USE IT"!!!!!!

The speedway merry - go- round has already started!! I have to say after rattling off 3 wins in the first match of the season to finish with 11,to be let go the next match seems very harsh on Cook,IE Already splashed out cash for new machinery etc for the new season and hes out after the second meeting!!! ...... But as i say the speedway merry go round has started,so what are the odds Cook turns up at Sheffield instead of Holder?!!!

Just out of interest what was the average crowd,and what was the catchment area.Did fans travel far and wide.

.......and ALL the noise from building this!! The new industrial park which has been given the green light by the council!! IS it really needed,spoiling the land,and it just shows how councils operate,ie NO to extra speedway training schools,YES to large industrial units,the build and also the continued use of the units.crazy

Having ploughed through the GP regulations on the FIM website that finally finished loading!!!! ,maybe i missed a few things,but just wondered if someone can clarify certain things. Things like fuel are free but are the tyres free and is it just a single make and tread that is allowed? maybe i missed it in the regs but i couldnt see any brand of tyre that could be used? Can some rider just turn up with a 500 cc protoype engine that gives them an edge thats within the rules or is it just the main engine brands allowed? Silencers and frame. Free to choose? Only 2 bikes per rider on race night? IF only the GP website would give us all the info we need !! Thanks in advance.

Have to agree that some things should be standard requirements at a TV meeting. IE Team Riding order by TEAM MANAGERS and the reasons why.Any last minute team info/chat from managers themselves Meeting referee name and info. Coin Toss, who won and who opted for heat 15.DONE LIVE EVERYTIME,at the same time at the start of the meeting. TELEPHONE or radio commun with referee to be standard.All adds to the buzz and keeping fans live "in the moment" AND not second hand info when the comms can be bothered to give us the information.

Pearson/Tatum Maybe so,but they have to watch they dont get tooooooooooooooo complacent,and go off on one that knowone else really cares about.But things like the change of tyres Kelvin mentioned or any snippets of info that the fans dont know about would be welcome.

Anyone know what promoters have to go through to get a transfer or loan deal done?Is it a free fall all when you just approach a rider,or the rider does the same with the promoter,or is there rules(?!) that a club has to go through to get the deal done,ie contacting the BSPA,club who owns Chris Harris,or even contacting somerset to ask have you got first call on Chris Harris in 2020?

Where was this appeal held,and who are the people behind SCB who were on the panel.?My guess is the the appeal was held down the pub,with the fine for cook being just keep the beers coming until he got the lot pissed,and the statement was all the could muster up because they were so drunk!!!
