  1. Now a feeder club for the big boys in the top league. Bring on the youngsters for the top clubs to use.
  2. Well you can visit some tracks in the woods. Dudek already said bye bye. Pepe number one?
  3. Not true sorry to say. The Poole Pirates team of 2003 would kick any POLISH TEAM. RICKARDSON, ADAMS, B PEDERSEN, L DRYML, LORAM, STEAD, LINDBACK. Would smash your team to bits. Enjoy your visits to Gdansk, Łódź and Gniezno!
  4. Looks like his head goes down and he isn’t bothered. Seems the same when he rode in the SECs.
  5. You would have thought that after a couple of heats any cameraman or director would have got the most of speedway and be on the pulse every heat. Unfortunately this director is dead. He has no pulse and the cameras are on auto pilot. Unforgiveable.
  6. Should have a round at Wimborne Road. That will sort the buggers out and is far better then this crap.
  7. Just played catchup on the first 8 heats and agree with all comments. Crap director, crap camerawork, all been on the vodka, crap racing, crap crowd. Thought it would be rocking but only half full. Don’t think they will be back next year. And we all know Zmarzlik will gate in the semi and final.
  8. Has been very good this year until last week with some great racing. Last two meetings have had issues though.
  9. I said it was smoother after it was bladed. I didn’t say it was smooth. Why don’t you offer your services to Danny Ford? Then we can judge your skills in improving the track?
  10. Where on earth did I say there was nothing wrong with it? In every match post I have said the track is poor with dust. Think you need to go back and look. I await your apology. I quote myself from meeting report. “We could see the track had been well watered before the meeting and there was a lot of track work going in up to 15 minutes before tapes up. But in the first heat we could see issues as it looked deep and grippy and riders were struggling. A track grade and watering after heat 2 didn’t make much difference and an early interval at heat 8 saw the blade come out, which certainly made the track better but unlike last week they didn’t water anymore, meaning the rest of the meeting was played out in dusty conditions. ”
  11. Next Wednesday instead of heading down the road to Wimborne Road we head up north to Birmingham. This could well be a very close and tough encounter. Brum are good around their patch. Hopefully a decent amount of Pirates fans will be making the 3 hour journey north to swell the crowd.
  12. Edinburgh have a very good top 3, backed up by an improving Thomson. Their issue is they have very poor reserves and number 2. So they are stuck. If a reserve replaces the number 2, it makes them no stronger. They are forever relying on their heat leaders winning to keep them in it, then try to win the meeting in the last 3 heats. This has worked until they meet another team with strong top 3. And who have much better second strings and reserves. Hume tonight showed superb aggression and a fighting spirit which the Edinburgh riders could not get close to. On his first visit. And to think he has been desperate for a team berth for a couple of years with no one prepared to give him a chance until this year. The Jack Smiths, Cleggs, Lawsons always getting the nod in front of him. He is still learning and has loads of improvement in him. Well spotted Matt Ford.
  13. Yes he did by a wheel. Very close. But it was King not Worrall.
  14. Like eide67 I missed half of heat 8. Not sure what happened but had to reload a few times. But other than that it was all good.
  15. Pay with card in the glass grandstand. Seats are first come first served. Not sure if you can get a beer. Tea and coffee/burgers etc available.
