Very routine win tonight against the patched up Lynn team. A few good heats with Cook charging but the result was never going to be in doubt.
Holder having one of his best meetings for Poole and Klindt having one of his best ever seasons. Nice to see THJ battling for a paid win in heat 14.
One ridiculous talking point. Cook got a flyer in heat 9 but the ref let it go. He won the heat from the tapes. After the race the ref gave Cook a warning for moving at the tapes! Crowd far from happy! Then Klindt did exactly the same in the next heat and the ref banged on the red lights and gave him a warning. Ref was Ronnie Allen.
So three easy points for Pirates. Should be a lot tougher on Monday.
Lambert hates hates the track? He is almost unbeatable around Poole.
It’s funny how Klindt made it without issue when he mist his flight due to the very last mini sh of his meeting in Denmark but rebooked for this morning and made it easily.
Let Down Lynn fans, let down Poole fans and let down Swindon fans as it’s 3 points gifted.
Klindt didn’t leave the track until 11.45 last night, hadn’t slept when he arrived in the UK this morning and hope to grab a few hours in a hotel before tonight’s meeting.
Spot the pro.
Harris for Palm Toft makes Kings Lynn stronger, no doubt about it. TJ is crap at Poole. Riss, Harris, Kerr and Porsing to cover, which will score more than TJ.
However I still think Poole should win this, even though Lambert loves the Poole track and could go unbeaten.
You can’t. And Swindon are clear favourites this year. Adam was excellent tonight battling from the back but Doyle was sitting in the pits in heat 15 and Batchelor in particular was rocketing from the tapes.
I liked Roscos choice but it was a mistake imo.
