  1. Trackprat must be so frustrated. We still finish top with the weakest lineup in years.
  2. Both us and Swindon took advantage of a weakened Lynn side. If they had been at full strength neither us or the Robins would have got much out of our trips there.
  3. You enjoy the typo while us Poole fans can enjoy finishing top of the pile.
  4. What a huge turn around after the interval. Shows just how good Middlo is as our manager, getting the riders in the right frame of mind to do the job in hand. we probably won’t win it this year but we are still in there fighting to retain. #PiratePride.
  5. YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS! Top of the league, baby! My pessimism geed them up! Looks like we held on all meeting and Middlo did his magic at the break. We’ll probably chose Swindon now!
  6. Our problem tonight, with the scores at 30-30, is that we can’t get heat winners and both Cook and Lambert are unbeaten with 13 and 15 to come. Currently hanging on but not likely to get the win unless a couple step up.
  7. Makes no difference. It reflects directly off Swindon Speedway!
  8. This happened to a Poole bus this season. Car park hitler told them they couldn’t park in the car park!
  9. Gavan even thinks the meeting is tonight. What a complete know-nothing!
  10. He’s not worthy of a response. He posts knowing exactly what you have just said. He can’t help himself. He has to respond regardless!
  11. Yes it would be a remarkable achievement if we were to retain the title this season. Certainly massive underdogs against those two teams. We should see off Ipswich but that’s about it. Every speedway fan bar the other teams fans would be cheering us on to a shock win as we are the underdogs this season.
  12. Absolutely correct. Riders don’t turn up to play safe and come through unscathed. They turn up to score as many points as possible. More points - more money. All meetings are the same.
  13. Harris guesting swings it Lynns way completely. But it’s fair enough. Swindon got the luck this time around with Proctor. Be interesting to see if they do chose us or Ipswich.
  14. If Chapman doesn’t doctor the track we could have a decent meeting. Poole need to win to finish top. Not one of our favourite tracks but we did get a result there at the start of the season.
  15. Does Gavan go out of his way to spew utter guff? Post after post of it all saying the same ad nauseous. Has mentioned me in about every post! The bloke needs help!
  16. Good interview this morning on Talksport radio with Tai. Go to 9.32am https://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1568696400/1568709000/
  17. Lawson moved. We all saw it. Ref correct with warning. In fact I don’t believe the ref made one wrong call except not pulling back the rolling King in one heat. Heeps rightly excluded, Iversen rightly excluded though at the time and from where we stand it looked like Josh had knocked him off. Replays proved otherwise.
  18. No way Harris would have got by Klindt with Nicolai on the high and wide line. Kept him honest but no way would he have got around him and certainly not under him at that stage of the meeting. Klindt is currently our best and most consistent rider. Been excellent. Allen was poor. One good ride. Expected better but he was over riding. Ipswich were well beaten last night regardless of no t/r. And no T/Rs allowed in the playoffs.
  19. It’s not a playoff meeting. I am talking about Lynn v Poole on Thursday.
  20. Thought the ref was spot on in all his calls except letting King get away with a roller.
  21. No getting away from it not being bumpy as I made a comment on it at the track in heat 2. Track staff need to blade off the inside of bend one. On the outside of the bend it’s smooth.
  22. More likely Becker or Douglas. Both are on fire. Don’t think it matters now to be honest. Rather see Swindon or Wolves next week.
  23. Flattered Poole? We were pretty dominant to be honest and a 16 point win would have been fair. Ipswich got lucky with the chain coming off. But to be frank neither Poole or Ipswich will be challenging Swindon or Wolves this year.
