Very unfortunate that the meeting has been cancelled but if it meant losing money that’s the only option. I wouldn’t attend and neither would hundreds of others, meaning a minuscule crowd with the rent remaining the same.

He hasn’t posted anything. No “congratulations”, no “we Woz robbed”, no “the track was too slick for our team of racers”, no nothing. A gutless wonder of the highest proportions. I have had him on block for 18 months but thought tonight would be a good time to see what he had to say. His silence says it all. Gone into hiding, too ashamed to admit his team were beaten fair and square. Sums him up perfectly. Back on block for Gavan. -

I am in Italy late Sept/early Oct again this year. Hope it doesn’t clash with the playoffs. -

Perhaps complacency had set in. The Witches just thought all they had to do was turn up and Pirates would just roll over. Or perhaps they have been riding above themselves and tonight reality cut back in? Or perhaps Pirates are lucky to have the best manager in the business who can motivate a team not expected to win. Middlo is a very good man manager and knows just how to get the best out of a team. Whilst it was an impossible task on Monday, the Ipswich track is more similar to Wimborne Road in shape and size. He got them fired up from the start and determined to battle for every point. Perhaps Hawkins hasn’t yet got that ability? -

Newman. 0,0,0 Big track specialist there. Wells had a good meeting he owed that after what happened on Monday. Doolan did OK. Better than Ipswich reserves but ran a couple of lasts. A full strength Pirates would have done probably even better. -

This is certainly not aimed at the majority of Ipswich fans. Just one. Who seems elusive tonight for some reason. Where are you Gavan? Gavan your time is up! Better send out a search party. -

For tonight I will take Gavan off blocked and read his posts. Should be hilarious. I have been told he has been gloating for weeks that Poole are the easy opposition. Has he got the guts to come on here and congratulate Poole for their win tonight, or will he run and hide? As he never goes he must be reading this. So come on Gavan, do you have it in you to say Poole were the better team tonight, or will you just run and hide and hope it’s all a bad dream? I am waiting.......tick tick tick tick....... -

Just been riding above themselves. Which was good but met the patched up Pirates tonight and melted like a mivvie in the sun. Shudder to think what the real Pirates would have managed. -
