  1. BT’s love affair with the champs continues this Monday with the Pirates visit to Kings Lynn. My guess is the viewing figures are higher when Poole are on TV. We are on a 5 meeting winning streak and showing signs of good confidence. Kings Lynn were dispatched fairly easily last night and will certainly be out for revenge. Poole will be hoping Brady Kurtz is fit to ride and will have to find two guests at reserve to replace Covatti, who will be missed on his current form, and Busk Jakobsen who looks to be suffering from appendicitis and had an aborted return to the team last night. Question marks over Jorgensen for Lynn who pulled out last night for no obvious reason. Certainly not an on track issue. Hopefully a good meeting. We have no real answer to Lambert and Cook and they could get Lynn over the line. Think a point is achievable, possibly more. Pirates have to hit the track running and not allow Lynn to build ip an early lead.
  2. Good honest post Bob. Looks to me that one of the riders dug their heel in and dragged it back on a soft patch due to watering. No issues whatsoever during the meeting. Lots of fake news on here about the Poole track by people hundreds of miles away from last nights meeting. They should have come along to witness the champs in action. Pretty sure they would have been entertained.
  3. Because I should imagine one of the Lynn riders dug their heel in and dragged it back. Quite clear it had just been made. Not one single issue with the track last night. Flat out racing with plenty of passing. Seems to me there are people on here willing for the Poole track to be bad. Its not the case anymore. Sorry to disappoint! Five wins on the bounce. Confidence running high. Top of the league. On our way to retaining our title yet again. Happy days!
  4. There was no hole on bend three. The track is smooth and in good condition. Best it’s been in a long time.
  5. Were you there? I believe I and the rest of the Poole fans actually witnessed the incident, so have an eye witness viewpoint. Why don’t you just admit Cook rode dirty in heat 15?
  6. Thanks for posting. Terrible crash. Covatti hopes to be back for Ipswich on 18th July. Richie will probably be out for season.
  7. Lol! I don’t give a flying fig what you or anyone else thinks. Up the Pirates! Top of the league, baby!
  8. It was a pre-meditated move. He knew what he was doing. He didn’t “accidentally” knock Josh off. Anyway it’s now all been dealt with Ref chucked Cook out.
  9. I am biased? Of course I am! I support Poole Pirates and am not interested in being anything other than totally biased. The current League Champs! Nothing to be ashamed of.
  10. I saw Kings Lynn tonight. Other than your top two they were crap.
  11. Nothing threw Cook off his line but a rage that told him to stuff Grajczonek to the fence. He knew what he was doing. Josh being diplomatic. Filthy move by Cook. We all saw it.
  12. He came around with a collection bucket just ten mins earlier and seemed ok, though he did look gaunt.
  13. Well a very good meeting on an excellent surface. Poole track getting back to it’s best now and some real close heats. A few more meetings to build up racing lines and we will have a track to be proud of. Kings Lynn turned out to be a two man team and got their just deserts of coming away empty handed. Whilst Pirates don’t have the top end firepower of Lambert or Cook, we make up with strength in depth. Our engine room is capable and hard hitting. I believe it’s pretty obvious to everyone now that Poole are the team to beat. Again. And when our replacement for Worrall comes in, hopefully it will make us even stronger. For Poole: Masters. Flat and not fired up. Mediocre at best sorry to say. Klindt. Just gets better and better. So fast. Best season? Always chucks in one duffer. Josh. Best season. Just improves every week and the move he pulled in heat 15 was as sublime as the move he pulled in heat 3 at NSS. Cook had no answer other than to stuff him in the fence. Holder. Struggled to compete with Lambert and Cook. Had a great battle with Palm Toft. Wells. Did his job. Should be picked up by some team very soon. NBJ battled for his points and threw away a paid second when his bike failed on the last bend. Lynn. Lambert was excellent. Absolutely adores the Poole track. Sign him for next season please. Palm Toft took his time to get going. One titanic struggle with Holder. Riss was very poor. Jorgensen was poor. No idea why he withdrew. Cook was good but saw the red rag in heat 15 and stuffed Josh. Crowd incensed. Ref agreed. Kerr has had far bette meetings at Poole. Ayres out of his depth which was a suprise after what was said about him before the meeting. So an easy win for the rampant Pirates. The return is live on BT sports on Monday evening, which save a horrible and very long trip. oh, and by the way. Pirates are top of the league!
  14. Being taken to hospital after heat 15. Clearly an illness he hasn't recovered from.
  15. Kings Lynn leave with nothing. And after a ride like that its all they deserve.
  16. Filthy Cook dirty riding in heat 15. Rightly thrown out.
  17. Ambulance needs to take NBJ to hospital. Very strange. The weight of the collection bucket?Delays.....
