  1. I wasn’t referring to anyone FB. Who do you think I was attacking?
  2. What poster? I am not attacking anyone, just making a generalisation.
  3. Agree Skidder. The club has to run within its means. And if a rider is contacted to replace an injured rider they might ask for more than they are actually worth. Add to that getting everything in place mid season, it makes finding a rider very difficult indeed.
  4. With no decent guests available (Ford must have gone through is book looking for horses for courses) we are where we are. Four riders out in unprecedented for any club, let alone the Champions. Just need to bring in two new riders sooner rather than later.
  5. Anyone with an ounce of brain will realise Poole have been hit like no other team this season. While other teams have lost one or two, Pirates have lost over half their team. No one can cover that. To argue otherwise shows the poster as a pea brained imbecile. We need to sign a 28 day replacement for Brady and a full time replacement for Richie. Covatti will be back in a few weeks and NBJ needs an appendix removal by the sound of it so will be out for a few weeks. No point dilly dallying, get a deal done.
  6. Nobody can make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Not even Middlo. Where are we going to get Brady’s points from? He rides Saddlebow very well. With all due respect Summers and Newman are not likely to trouble the home team. Wells is clearly fighting to be noticed for a team place and he should score a few, though doesn’t have anywhere near the scoring potential of Covatti. We have 4 out of our 7 missing. Easy points for Lynn tonight.
  7. Covatti caught Berge’s Back wheel and caused the crash. Worrall had nowhere to go and got caught in the carnage. Covatti exc cause of stoppage.
  8. Don’t think anyone can serious read anything into a Poole defeat tonight with the team we have put out. It’s a shame we are not competitive tonight as it’s on tv but we have had some rotten luck with injuries.
  9. It was awarded 4-2 to Belle Vue as it should have been. Covatti exc as cause of stoppage.
  10. Garbage GP. Small crowd, poor racing overall. Worst one of the year easily.
  11. Just shows that bt have much smaller subscription levels than Sky.
  12. I should imagine he would say much improved, as we can all see for ourselves when we have attended.
  13. Don’t see it. I think BV will struggle to qualify for the playoffs to be honest.
  14. We can write this one off but are still top and easily going to qualify for the playoffs. As long as the Poole riders give their all and give a good account of themselves that’s all we can ask.
  15. Digging their hole in to the freshly watered shale and making a hole is easy enough to do. Me thinks fans are trying to deflect the defeat Lynn suffered. Track rode great.
  16. Then we will not get anything out of this one. Extremely weak Pirates team. I know it currently can’t be helped but we will be cannon fodder with that lineup.
  17. Absolutely they are. Poole have been almost completely dominant for the past 20 years. Anything to bash them even if the Lynn riders made the hole themselves, as witnesses]d by Skidder. Perhaps Matt should bill them for vandalism.
  18. He had a good meeting at Poole last season. Michael Palm Toft - 0, 1, 2', 2', 1, F/X = 6+2 Read more: http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/18438/kings-lynn-premiership-play-final#ixzz5sp8eujVn
  19. Replying to RayC. You never heard of a little bit of light banter? Some get far too serious on here.
  20. The track has been rectified. Smooth and new shale. Rides beautifully. All done with huge laser grader a couple of weeks ago.
  21. Always bigger viewing figures when Poole are on TV. BT would show us every week if they could.
  22. You can clearly see a heel has gone in and pushed down. It’s even foot shaped!
