No Josh will make it very difficult to get anything here. Ipswich have made a good change and will be revigorated. Still, we are safe in the playoffs. -
That score would have been the very last thing the Swindon promotion wanted or needed. A crippler for them.

Yes

He has done better in career than the rider he is replacing. A no brainier swap.

Klindt has done very well no way would I lose Klindt.

It is simply down to availability. Someone like THJ who has made himself available or a rider like........er... well there was no one available to fit Richie’s average who could reliably knock in 6 plus points. THJ is past his best but could still do a job. We have nothing to lose so why not? Last night proved we can’t go with r/r as once another rider is knackered we are stuffed. Especially a rider who is due to take an r/r ride. Kennett and KP don’t fit so there’s no choice other than the sarjeants of the league.

Either way it ended any hope of a chance of a point. Main thing is Josh is not out for Thursday otherwise we are stuffed. -

Possibly not but when you lose one of your top scorers all chance of a point goes out of the window. Never going to get much tonight but could have kept it closer. It just goes to show the dangers of r/r and then losing a rider. No cover. -

Bit of a thumping tonight, made far worse with Josh’s injury. Any chance of a point went when he was knocked off. Ipswich looking like they are going to miss out on the playoffs. -

Said on updates it was a bad call to exclude Wells. -

Same here. Not worth a day in traffic in hot weather. -

Wells unfairly excluded. Game over tonight with no Josh. But we were chasing anyway. Just lost the chance of a point. Hope Josh is ok and it’s just precautionary. -
Well we haven’t got long. Just a few days before no new signings.

I hope Wolves make top 4. Ideally Swindon v Wolves and Poole v Ipswich as the semis. Realistically a point will be good. As it’s on a bank holiday Monday and with the amount of traffic heading away from the Dorset area tomorrow I won’t make the trip up on this occasion. No fun being stuck in horrific traffic jams when I can be doing other things. Hopefully a good meeting. -
Fricke ok, but the other two? Yawn.

Where has any Poole fan said riders don’t lose form? Someone talking the usual crap. The Ipswich riders rode above themselves but have now reverted to form. But this should be on the Ipswich forum not Pooles

I congratulated Swindon on their win. They are rivals so not going to be too nice. -

Just got back after being detoured through the bloody new forest as the A31 was shut. Credit to Swindon for a very good strong performance tonight and we couldn’t live with them. But really we should at least got close to a point had our number one showed up and Brady hadn’t gone into the tapes. Two points from Holder is not good enough. In heat one of all his meetings it’s either 1 or 0. If I get time I shall go back and check but he gets beaten by riders he should be beating in heat one every week. Decent sized crowd but expected it to be bigger than that. This will probably be the final as well so we need to sharpen up. Too often we we left standing at the tapes but the ref did allow some huge rollers, one from Ellis and heat two from Perks the obvious ones. But no complaints. Beaten by the better team who now have the label of clear favourites going into the playoffs. For a change we don’t have that pressure on us or the expectation. As for the track, far superior to the old race circuit. Plenty of passing tonight.
