Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.
Steve Shovlar replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
At Poole the flag marshal stands in the middle of the track ten metres in front of the tapes with flag raised. Whilst away riders don helmets and sit on their bikes during parade, none have ever ridden off past the flag Marshall. Absolutely agree. A simple solution is that riders are not allowed to Don helmets or straddle a bike until all riders have been announced. Keep the bikes behind the riders and mechanics hold onto helmets until intros finished. Simple. -

That’s the exit from the pits. The entrance is halfway down the back straight. -

Wasn’t ~Eastbourne who caused this. Though Eddie should have kept his beak out of it. -

The entrance to the pits is half way down the back straight, meaning the three riders would have had to have ridden past the riders who were still being introduced! There were families by the riders! -
Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.
Steve Shovlar replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The flag Marshall was under instruction to stop the out of control Cook, Vissing and other rider from coming around and riding in front of the other riders who were still being introduced to the crowd, along with members of the public who were also trackside. The Marshall is a hero from stopping potential carnage.- 451 replies

Poole v Swindon. Prem. 19/8/19

Fixed now. Moved for BT? -
Let’s hope the weather is better next Monday than it was last week. A big fixture with Poole wanting to finish top and Swindon desperate to get into the playoffs. Pirates will still be missing Richie Worrall while Swindon arrive full strength. While Swindon haven’t travelled well this season they do have riders who know the quickest way around Wimborne Road and can give us serious problems. Should be a cracker. Thoughts?

Poole v Ipswich 8th August 2019. Prem.

Lol! So you think Ipswich were not benefitting from Heeps absence? Heeps scored three the last time he rode at Poole. Last night King, Allen, Kennett and K Pieczek would have covered his rides. It would have been better to check the facts before making that post. -

We always do. Stands in the middle off the track with red flag held out to stop riders “doing a Cook”. -

Hopefully it will be run with two full strength teams. Ipswich had a huge advantage tonight with Heeps out. Hopefully he will be fit to ride in the re-arranged meeting. -

Looks like the rain is just about to hit as I leave for the track. At least a solid hours worth of rain before a dry period. -

I post on Poole threads about my team. If I am biased I have every right to be. This is not trolling, it is simply expressing an opinion. One if you disagree. However, you know as do the rest of us that you dislike Poole, post continuously on Poole threads and normally give feint praise before sticking in the knife in the last sentence. We see this virtually on a daily basis. This is simply trolling. I guess it’s going to be as usual then. Pointless putting out an olive branch if the other side won’t accept it. -

Gavan I have currently got you on unblock. Perhaps for once you can be less aggresive in your posts and we can have or at least try to be a little more respectable towards each other. -

Unfortunately it looks like the heavy rain pushing up over the channel this afternoon has got our name on it. The forecast hasn’t changed for a few days. -

Heeps isn’t usually good at Poole. Who can take his rides? King, Allen, Kennett and KP? In which case Ipswich will not be doing the rain dance! -

Kings Lynn stars v Ipswich witches 5th Aug
Steve Shovlar replied to Badge's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What was Cook doing on a bike when the intros were only half way through. Being disrespectful. Red light on by the ref. Flag man told to stop him. Cook ran him over then shoulder charged him. A guy went up and told Cook he was out of order. Got a punch in the head for his troubles. Then the fracas started. Can only lay the whole sorry mess on Cooks shoulders. Should be banned for the rest of the season and fined.
