  1. The showpiece event, the pinnacle of the league season, live on tv in front of a huge audience, and we have a rider turning out for both teams. How can this possibly be allowed to happen? It is beyond a joke. Surely such a scenario should never be allowed to happen for the good of the sport. The presenters are going to have fun explaining that one away. If Iversen had got injured last week and they had booked Ellis, there’s no way on gods earth I would want a rider in my team who rode for the opposition in the other leg. The rules should have covered this. I know riders need to earn a living and take bookings, but this is the final, not a cup meeting or even just a league meeting. It comes across of a footy match with mates over the wreck. One team loses a player when his mum shouts out teas ready so one lad swaps sides to even it up. How can the sport be taken seriously when this happens? It’s ruined the final.
  2. Well it’s confirmed. The final has become a complete embarrassing joke. https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/16966848.adam-ellis-to-guest-for-pirates-and-kings-lynn-in-play-off-final/
  3. Beyond bad. Ruins the final and makes the sport a laughing stock on live tv.
  4. Then the whole final has become an absolute farce. A rider riding for both clubs is beyond bad.
  5. How can he? He is booked for Poole at Kings Lynn. A guest cannot ride for both clubs in the final.
  6. Yes Ellis is riding as a guest for Poole on Wednesday. Actually reading the tweet he says nothing broke but needs rest. Doesn’t say he is riding tomorrow. Lucky to get away with it to be honest. Looked like he could easily have broken a collarbone.
  7. Mike, just about a week ago you read a post incorrectly and wouldn’t put your hands up and say, whoops, my mistake. Now you are doing it again!
  8. Boring picks. Wouldn’t have given Zagar a place. Just makes up the numbers. Down to having a home GP. Britain should have two. Lambert might not have set it alight but he would have done better than Cook.
  9. Of course you can’t! I tried to make that point before. We are weaker with no Brady as KL might be with no Iversen.
  10. If Iversen is out, KL can use Lambert, Proctor, Riss and Jorgensen. Iversen has scored 5 from 4 and 6 from 5 on his two visits to Poole this year. So using the logic thrown at Poole fans when Brady got injured last week, he can easily be covered by R/R. Let’s hope though that all this us nothing more than speculation.
  11. Batchelor is 7.88. Too high home or away. Ellis at Poole for KL and Ellis at KL for Poole. Now that WOULD be a farce. Hopefully Iversen will declare himself fit to ride.
  12. Iversen isn’t ruled out. No broken bones being reported. How do Poole become the 4th best team when we finished third?
