Having not been on the bike for seven weeks, my performance would be different to what it would be if I were race-fit.”

Lambert really has done well this season and come on well after a not so great 2017. He just needs to continue his improvement, especially his gating. Certainly has the speed and passing ability. Would like to see him get a wild card for the GPs next season as the second Brit.
