Its not a meltdown and I would be saying the same whoever tried to pul this stunt. If Matt Ford had done this the forum would have been in meltdown. It really doesn’t affect Poole unless by some slice of fortune both Poole and Belle Vue make the final. Riss withholding his services is a big load of guff. You know it, I know it and so does everyone else. It’s wrong, and the MC should come down on it by making Belle Vue ride with one reserve. They won’t of course but this loophole will be surely sealed up at the agm to stop it happening again.

Belle Vue should not be allowed a replacement. No changes after 15th August. Rules are clear. Riss is not injured. 6 riders only should be the MC ruling.

Riss is under contract and obligated to ride. Other clubs have riders who fly in just for their meetings. Woryna and Jakobsen at Poole for starters. Its a tactical move by the BV promotion. Simple as that. They call it tactical. I say its cheating. No changes after August 15th. Those are the rules.

It is blatant cheating and the MC should step in and ban Belle Vue from using guests for a rider they have axed. If Poole had made a move like this you would be screaming foul. Its called replacing a rider after the cut off. Which is not allowed. But as it’s a reserve they just did it.
