  1. Wayhay! You can blame DC2 for all the crap he threw our way earlier this season. What goes around comes around and he who laughs last laughs longest. The funniest bit is a Poole rider stuffing the Robins in heat 13 to give Belle Vue the win. Hey DC2, cheer up, you might still make the playoffs and meet us in the semis. I see it made real sense to show faith in your 1-7 and not make changes. Well done to the Robins management for that one.
  2. Heavy rain this morning. Track could be quite heavy.
  3. Best meeting I saw there was the pairs a few years ago before the GP.
  4. Next Monday sees the BT cameras at the Oak Tree Arena for Somerset v Poole. After a close meeting at Poole, the return could be just as exciting and close as the two clubs fight for top spot. Will the Rebels bounce back after the shock defeat by Belle Vue, or will they lose three on the bounce ? Both teams will hopefully be at full strength. IMO it will be a close one which is hard to call. Thoughts?
  5. Having read that, hopefully the racing is as good on Monday with BT there. Nearly every time I have been there the racing has been mediocre.
  6. Thing with Blunsdon is that the Swindon riders know how it rides and are very hard to beat out of the gate around there. Time and again they are set up to lead going into the first bend, leaving the opposition for dead. Then it’s basically a spread out four laps. If you can gate them you have a chance, but that’s not easy to acheive.
  7. Belle Vue know they have to win tomorrow at Swindon. They have to be all guns blazing. Cook needs to continue where he left off tonight and..... oh hang on a minute..........
  8. Think those bv fans might change their mind after tonight.
  9. That’s given a few fans from Swindon and Lynn a squeaky bum tonight!
  10. Well done Belle Vue! What a turnaround from Monday! Thank you very much from this Pirate fan. We remain top if the league for another 24 hours!
  11. Gives Kurtz a practice for Bank holiday Monday.
  12. Judging by post number 4on this thread it seems pretty clear that most think there should be no extention. And rightly so.
  13. This is a ridiculous thread. Neither team are guarenteed a place in the final.
  14. I would say the club should have planned better. No excuse this year to not have completed the fixtures on time. The weathers been fine. We are not overloaded with fixtures. There’s not been enough for gods sake! For those that fail to complete, tough!
  15. We have had a long dry summer. No reason to extend at all. Clubs could have planned better to fit fixtures in gefore panicking as time ran out. Think back to all those weeks when no fixtures were run. The playoff dates should not be moved imo. Clubs should simply plan their fixtures better.
  16. Absolutely nothing to do with Poole. Just the intransigence of the Lynn promotion to seek a remedy with Somerset.
  17. Every available date before the cutoff. Lynn management said no to every one. Source is pretty good.
  18. Kings Lynn have refused all dates Somerset have offered them before the cutoff. If the meeting isn’t run before the cutoff neither team will benefit. Zero points to either team.
  19. The water on the track before heat one was because it had been watered with hoses before the meeting. They never watered it after 6.30 when the gates opened. Note there was no dust during the meeting and no watering either.
  20. That was the best league meeting on bt this season. Christ knows what you would rate the other televised meetings at.
  21. Desperately sad news. Watched him ride on tv recently. RIP.
